"Hey Luke!" I walked in.
"Anywhere," he spoke.
Normally if I was with Rory and Lorelei, they would have walked up to a table with people and asked them if they could move. But I just sat at the bar.
"What can I get ya?" He asked.
"Just a cheeseburger is fine," I spoke.
I opened my book and read while I waited. I was reading a novel on a cook who started a small restaurant that quickly grew, she had to fight her way to the top.
Someone sat next to me but I didn't look up.
"Your not normally here," he spoke.
I still didn't look up because I didn't think that he was talking to me.
"Thea!" He laughed.
I glanced up.
"Dean?" I asked.
"Ya. You don't normally eat here," he laughed.
"I didn't have time to pack a lunch this morning," I shrugged.
"One cheeseburger. Oh Hey dean what can I get for you?" He asked.
"A cheeseburger," he shrugged.
Jess walked down from his room.
"I thought you were at school," Luke spoke.
"I forgot my book," he shrugged and saw Dean.
Dean saw him.
Awkward.
He just walked right past him.
"Oh and a Luke I'm not going to be able to do that shift. I have a date. With Rory," he spoke loudly making sure dean heard.
Dean was going to punch him. I gave him a look. He sighed and turned back to his food which Luke had just dropped off.
After I finished eating I went back and finished school.
