Snakes
"This is how my dad had his murder board before it was trashed," Kevin stated. Jughead, Betty, Kevin, and I were in the Blue & Gold's office all morning to recreate the murder board. It took long enough but it was finally time to ask questions.
"Were there any leads on who did that? Or what they were looking for?" Jughead asks, then sits on a desk in front of the murder board. I join him and take a look at our recreation.
"Nope, no fingerprints. They stole a bunch of files and background checks and all the police audiotapes of police interviews." Kevin shook his head.
"Wow..." I whisper to myself.
The door suddenly flings open and Joshua dramatically rushed in.
"What are you doing here?" I question.
"What are YOU doing here?" He asks back. He raised his eyebrows and pointed his finger at me.
"I'm helping Jughead and Betty catch Jason's killer." I retort. I make my way towards him and squint my eyes.
"No, I'm helping Jughead and Betty catch Jason's killer!" He snapped. I open my mouth to speak before a voice abruptly stops me.
"Hey, Betty." Trev smiles. All attention in the room shifts to the two. Everyone's mouths drop at the sight.
"Trev, hi!" She exclaims. She walks over to him and we all watch in silence.
"Sorry to interrupt," Trev says, eyeing Joshua and me.
"Oh no, it's okay. Just sibling bickering. We're just working on our..." Betty starts, she was embarrassed.
"Our murder board," I say bluntly. Trev's jaw drops open and shares a shocking expression around the group. Betty sighs in embarrassment.
"Well, I just wanted to be sure we were still on for tomorrow." He says, he tried to ignore what I just said previously.
"Absolutely! It's a date." She exclaimed. Everyone's attention was turned toward the word 'date'. Kevin raises his eyebrows while Joshua and Jughead just stare awkwardly.
"I mean... I'll see you then. Bye." She laughs. Trev laughs too, then leaves the room.
"You're going on a date with Trev?" Kevin blinks.
"Does Mama Cooper know about that?" I ask, eyeing Betty.
"Hennessy, I'm not on house arrest." He glares at me. Kevin stares at her questionably.
"Okay, she's at a journalist spa retreat." She walks to the other side of the room. "Anyway, it's not a date date."
"You just called it a date," Jughead said, clearly bothered.
"You literally said 'it's a date'." Josh added. He seemed bothered. Betty; the new bachelorette.
"That's my cover. Really, it's an intelligence-gathering mission. We should focus on the one thing we have access to, that your dad doesn't. The kids at Riverdale High. Maybe he knows something about Jason he didn't think was important." Betty insisted.
