Third Person's POV
The morning light hit (Y/N)'s eyelids, forcing her out of her slumber. She lazily opened her eyes. (Y/N) rubbed them and stood up, looking at the window with a smile on her face. Oh how she love the mornings here
(Y/N) heard a knock on her door. She sighed before walking towards the door and opening it, only to reveal a certain sweet and cute rabbit as she always describe her
"Good morning Miss (Y/N)" Cream politely greeted smiling at (Y/N)
"Good morning Cream" (Y/N) greeted back
"Please wait here Cream. I'll be just taking a shower" She said before walked downstairs

After dressing up, (Y/N) patted Cream on the shoulder before walking downstairs. She quickly ran towards the table, helping her mother prepare for breakfast. (Y/N) greeted the older female before gently taking the plates out of Cream's hands and placing it herself
When she was done preparing, she can't resist the delicious smell of what Vanilla is surely cooking, so (Y/N) took a peak. A small sadness twinged her, remembering the memories where she is always looking at whatever her mother was cooking for her
(Y/N) needed a distraction. She wanted so badly not to remember the memories that she sometimes wished never happened, so it won't pain her as much as today, yet, those were the memories she was thankful for because it made her stronger. She quietly walked away, finally deciding to take a walk outside. She took a glance at Cream who is playing with Cheese and watching their favoritr cartoon show before opening the door and finally walking outside
"Hey (Y/N)!"Knuckles grinned
"Hey Knuckles. How's it going?"(Y/N) chuckled
"Well here, avoiding Sonic's chaffing again"Knuckles rolled his eyes showing how frustrated he was
"Hey Knux!"Sonic called from behind
Knuckles merely grunted
"Not again"Knuckles said rolling his eyes once more
As much as the female doesn't want to, she can't help but chuckle. The two really has a strong frien-
"I'm not gonna be envious" (Y/N) thought
"Oh hey (Y/N)!" Sonic waved at her
"Hi"She said
From the distance, someone waving. The three can't make out if the figure was calling or needed help. But then, the figure was getting closer and they began to make out the said person. Silver, whom is running towards the three and stopped waving
"Sonic, we found a choas emerald" He said showing a big purple gem
"How-how did you...I mean where did you find it?"Sonic asked
"I'm sitting on a tree. When Shadow told me he was sensing a chaos energy on all of the sudden. We looked for it and this, a chaos emerald"Silver said
"How many have we got?"
"Four..."Silver said
"We better hurry finding the other chaos emeralds. Eggman might be already searching for the other three"
Silver and Sonic continued their conversation until they opened the door and entered
"Knuckles,"
"(Y/N)?"He asked
"I..uh..I. What's with those chaos emeralds you were...talking about?" (Y/N) tried to ask, trying to make sure she wasn't being suspicious
"Ahh, those things are a powerful ones. They can warp back time or even future, can bring us to some places, and can power machines. These emeralds can turn Sonic,Shadow,and Silver into Super. This chaos emerald can do almost anything,"Knuckles explained
"That's why Eggman wants them. For his other evil deeds, but mostly, to conquer the world. That Egghead is an evil genius" Knuckles continued
"That's why Shadow thought I was one of Eggman's...robots? Right?"(Y/N) asked, not sure if she had put the word 'robots' in the sentence
"Yup"Knuckles said
"Rouge and the others are starting to search for the three emeralds left. The reason why we keep them because we don't want these emeralds to fall into the enemies hands, of course. Specially Eggman. We want to protect them to avoid the harms that can occur to the world. Eggman had attempt to destroy and kill us so many times. You never know, times may change. Besides, as what I think I previously mentioned, there can be new powerful enemies,"Silver joined the conversation
"I had a feeling that it'll take a long time to find the other three emeralds left" Hecontinued
"If only we have something to detect the emeralds..."Knuckles sighed
"No, you're the one who's going to guard the master emerald. The others are going to search for the emerald, Amy or Rouge will be with (Y/N) along with Miss Vanilla and Cream. Mephiles or Scourge may be with us to help us find the emeralds, or either of them can stay with the girls. Shadow had already planned everything about this, we just have to make our move now. Eggman is obviously planning something against now"
(Y/N) felt her stomach turn. Of course, everything won't be alright here. She needed to be cautious, specially now that everyone had explained who this Eggman really is
