Kali's POV

"Im sick of this shit Kim. You don't care about me you just want your damn check!" I yelled at my older sister.

"You know what you damn right I never gave a fuck about you. Im not your mother just a guardian." kim spat back.

tears began to welt up in my eyes but I refuse to let them fall.

"Your the only one I have left I haven't seen mom in two days. every since dad died you act as if you don't love me no more. what did I do to make you treat me the way you do?"

"YOUR THE REASON HE'S DEAD! YOU WALK AROUND LIKE MISS PERFECT AND NOTHING HAPPENED. IF YOU WASN'T JUST A GOODY GOOD HE WOULD STILL BE HERE!" she yells at me. her words hit me like a dagger to my heart.

"YOU CAN SAY ALL YOU WANT ABOUT ME BUT YOU WILL NOT BLAME ME FOR OUR FATHER'S DEATH! HOW DARE YOU! YOU WERE SO BUSY HOEING AROUND THAT YOU NEVER WAS HOME SPENDING TIME WITH US!"

"oh suck it up I grew up faster than you did so fucking what. I didn't have time laying around reading books it wasn't for me and dad understood. if you wouldn't have came home complaining about getting bullied he would still be here!"

"How was I suppose to know that his dad was our dad's enemy! dad never mixed business with family ever so I never knew he was a target!"

"You dumb ass little girl when your in the game and on top your every mans target."

"OH SHUT UP! what are y'all arguing about now." my drunk mother came in crashing through the door.

"OH hey mom I was just telling Kali how she ruined out lives by getting dad killed" Kim looked at me with a smirk.

"mom tell Kim that's not true" I said.

"why lie it's the truth we lost everything once he died. if you weren't so prissy he would be holding me telling me how much he loved me." she began to sob "AND YOU GOT HIM KILLED YOU STUPID BITCH GET OUT MY FACE!" she slapped me causing me to hit my head against the wall.

Kim's POV

"what are we going to do with her" I asked mom

"pack all her shit and drop her off some where" she spat stumbling into the kitchen

"mom that's my income. I can't get paid if I don't have her here."

"well that's not my problem is it? no. You decided to claim her so you can get a check now there you go welcome to mother hood Kimberly" smiled at me

I packed all Kali's things like she mentioned and threw them in my trunk. then I walked back in to drag Kali but she was too heavy. I noticed Jake a old fling back in high school I use to mess around with.

"Jake! is that you! I acted so surprise to see him

"YES it's me Kim how you been I haven't seen you since junior prom?" he asked me trying to start a conversation

"I've been wonderful can you do me a favor" I asked getting straight to the point

"yeah what is it"

"Can you help me carry Kali to my car please?"

"why what's wrong with her" he asked sounding concerned

"OH nothing shes just sleep I have to take her to her friends house before I go home." making up a quick lie

"oh ok sure where is she?"
