Kali's POV

Once Jerome signaled for me to get out I knew then shit was finna pop off. Damn. I missed it.

"Aunty Kali what's wrong with my daddy?" King asked me

"Nothing baby he just playing and uncle Jerome told him to calm down.look there's grandma" I said he looked over at Riko's mom coming out of the elevator walking towards us.

"Hey baby how you feeling?" She asked rubbing my stomach.ever since I met Riko's mom our bond has been great she's like another mom to me.

"I'm good and you?"

"I'm great baby I just came to get King I can take JJ if you want. to give you some time alone"

"Please"

"Sure come on boys let's go home and make. Some cookies for mommy"

"Yayyyy! Bye mommy love you!" JJ said walking off with king.

"Call me when you get the info" she said winking making me laugh I waking back into the room.

ASHLEY'S POV

I was so lost and afraid.it's like everything that happened before went blank and the only thing that I remember is what's happening right now. I don't know who I was more afraid of Charleston or Riko. They both started at me angrily and anxiously waiting for an answer. It's like all the air was sucked out of my throat. I couldn't focus.

"Hey everything good?" Kali said waking into the room without the boys.

"Baby stay back I don't want you or the baby getting hurt" Jerome said helping Kali sit back down on the couch by the window.

"Ashley......" Charleston growled. I looked down at my fingers playing with them. Something I tend to do when im nervous.

"What's going on?" Kali asked

"She thinking about who she wanna be with shhhh" Jerome whispered to Kali. Well attempted to whisper because the whole room heard his ass.

"What! It shouldn't even be no thinking she just met him!" She said to Jerome

"Yeah you right" he responded. Are these two really having a conversation like I'm not sitting right here?

"Baby... you knew I care for you more than -" Charleston started to say but before he could finish Riko socked him in his jaw making him fall back into the equipment .that gave an advantage to Riko to start throwing punches to his face left and right not giving time for Charleston to react quick enough. Jerome tried to get up and so the fight but Kali pulled him back down. Telling him not to get into it. I was just sitting there watching the entire chaos unravel infront of me. Then security runs into the room grabbing Riko off of Charleston and dragging him out of the room. They left Charleston on the ground like a piece of trash. Me feeling bad I got out of bed help him into my bed and went and asked for a first aid kit. When I got back Kali and Jerome was leaving.

"Ashley imma take her home before she gets upset"

I sighed "ok.Call me"

"No!" She yelled at me I was taken back but I didn't say anything about it.maybe it's the hormones. I walked back into the room with Charleston and cleaned him up since the blood was all over.

"Thank you baby. I love you"  he grabbed my waist pulling me to him giving me a kiss on the lips.

"I- I- I love you too"
