Rye's POV

No. This is not real. It can't be. It must be an illusion or some kind of weird dream. It has to be a dream. Yeah That's it. I am having some kind of fucked up dream. My mind is just messing with me because of the stress. It's not real. It's not real. It's not real-

"It is real, Ryan. You're not dreaming." Aleksandur spoke, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"H-how?" I asked dumbly.

"How can I read your mind? Well, being a 95 year old ghost does have its perks, you know." He said in a bittersweet tone.

"N-no. I m-mean.. " I stuttered, still not recovered from the shock.

"Why do I have the same face as your... friend? Or should I say, Why does he has the same face as me?" He said dryly before continuing, not even waiting for my reply.

"Well, I don't know why we have the same faces. But what I do know is that If we don't save Andy soon, She'll hurt him badly." He said as I looked at him in shock.

"You know Ryan, I knew Annabeth had gone insane when she learned about my death but I never thought that she would commit suicide and then after death, slaughter the whole village in her rage. Those people.. They were innocent, Ryan. They didn't deserve that kind of end." He said in a sad voice as I listened silently.

"But she didn't stop there. She became a bloodthirsty revengeful monster and anyone who ever tried to go near that mansion, never came back alive." He paused to look at me before continuing. "That night when you and your friends were going to the mansion, I tried to stop you many times. I scared you, I warned you. But you didn't listen."

So that old man who warned us that night... It was Aleksandur?

"And then I saw your friend, Andy. I was shocked to see that He has the same face as me, It almost felt like I was looking into a mirror. Suddenly, I realized that Annabeth is going to hurt him and take him away. So, I promised myself that I'd save him and all of you." He finished with a small smile.

"But why would Annabeth hurt Andy? I thought She loved you?" I asked in confusion. I became even more confused when I saw a flash of panic go through Aleksandur's face. But It was gone as fast as It came.

"Because in order to take him with her, She needs to kill him and turn him into a ghost." He said seriously.

"But If she wants a ghost.. Why didn't she take you? You are a ghost and You are her original lover. You should have a ghost marriage or whatever and live a ghost life happily ever after." I shrugged like it was the most simple thing ever.

"It's not that simple, Ryan. There are some... complications. I can't go near that mansion, I'm forbidden from going near it. Annabeth doesn't know that my spirit exists and watches everything she do. And besides, She is not the same Annabeth anymore. She is a monster now. And She needs to be get rid of, as soon as possible." He said before standing up.

"But--"

"The important thing is, We need to save Andy. We don't have much time. Let's go."

"Where?"

"Just trust me." He said before walking out of the cottage.

I don't know why but I feel like there is still something very wrong with this whole situation.

Mikey's POV

We've almost searched the whole mansion again and still no clues about who used to live here or what really happened in this place. Honestly, I'm very close to giving up right now. As much as It hurts to say this, I don't think We'd be able to save Andy. Maybe we should just go back home. Maybe we should just.. Forget about Andy.
