Death
Death is hidden in the smallest corners, always waiting to strike.
It can be there when you expect it the least, with having a heart attack or falling off the stairs, murder or some car crash.
The day that Sydney died was the day at least 36 other people I knew died too.
We were only 13, too young to realise that you only live once and that your life can be over any minute.
The day that Sydney died was also the day of Aprils death. And Josh's death. And of a lot of my other classmates.
It was also the day that I died...
Inside.
We were all having fun and in one second; BOOM!!! everybody was on the ground crying in pain. It was the worst thing I had ever seen in my life.
I'm happy that I was with Sydney when she died though. Because that was the moment she made me promise to continue what she started: train every day and try to get accepted into the Los Angeles Academy of the Arts, become the best dancer on earth.
So that is exactly what I'm doing now. After my family moved so that I could go to school with classmates, I started training. Every free minute was spent in the studio, making every choreography perfect, Making every step good enough for The Academy.
Making Sydney proud. And with that, making me a little more okay.
