F I V E: You have to look slutty

"So, there's this party tomorrow night", Jason started. We were in our room, together with our phones, texting and things like that.

"And?", I asked, even though I could already see the direction this conversation was going into.

"And I was wondering if you wanted to go."

"Where is it?"

''It's at Marley's, a girl I had some classes with in freshman and sophomore year", Jason answered.

"Does she go to this school?", I asked.

"No", he snorted,"she's not talented enough for that.''

"I don't know, Jay. I mean, I've only been here for a week and I don't know anybody there anyway."

"You know me! And Brad and Katelyn will probably go, and Brennan", he said.

"Yeah, but you guys will probably go after girs, and from what I've heard about Kate, she will probably leave me to be with some guy, and then I'm alone."

"Then you can just go find yourself a guy too and you won't be alone anymore", he responded.

"You know I'm not like that."

"Okay okay, I promise you won't be left alone, not even a second, unless you want to be alone."

"And how would we get back here, when you guys are all drunk and incapable of driving?" I asked.

"Don't worry about that, Marley's place is a five-minute walk away from my house, and during the weekend we don't have to stay on campus overnight, so we can all sleep there."

Shit, I was running out of excuses now, Jason really had a solution for every problem I came up with.

"I don't have anything to wear."

"Oh come on, you have way too much clothes. And I'm sure that there is a nice short dress somewhere in your closet", he smirked.

"I'm not wearing a dress to that party."

Jason started smiling very widely,"So you're going!"

"Sure, why not", I sighed. There wasn't really a reason for me not to go, It would be a nice experience, right?

"Oh no, I'm definitely not wearing that", I told Katelyn when she showed me the very short, dark blue dress.

When she had heard that I was going to go to that party tomorrow, Katelyn had insisted on taking me to the mall as soon as possible. It apparently wasn't acceptable to wear something to a party that was more than a week old.

"Why not? It's a very nice dress", she said.

"It's too short", I replied.

"But it looks so nice, at least try it on."

"I'm not going to wear a dress to that party."

"But you have to look good", Kate whined. She really wanted me to wear that dress...

"But I can look good in skinny jeans and a nice top too", I imitated her whiny voice.

"A skirt then?" she suggested.

"No, but I wouldn't mind wearing shorts", I replied.

"Skirt."

"Shorts."

"Skirt."

"Shorts."

"Okay fine, you can wear shorts, but at least wear really short ones." Katelyn finally gave in. Now I at least got to wear something that didn't make me feel too exposed while bending down.
