T W E L V E: You're a mystery to most people

Giving Jason the silent treatment wasn't the best idea I've ever had. I thought being silent would be a great way to make him realise that what he did was wrong. Well, I found out that it doesn't solve any problems, it only gives you more.

The problem that was added to my list now was annoyance. Annoyance caused by Jason. He's been trying to get my attention 24/7 for the last couple of days, repeating my oh so beautiful new nickname over and over again.

It was only a matter of hours before my head would explode.

"Broccoli Broccoli Broccoli Broccoli Broccoli Brocco-"

"Oh shut up! Just shut up. I'll talk to you, just stop getting on my nerves all the time because it's giving me a serious headache", I gave in. I couldn't do this anymore. His punishment had become a punishment for me too.

"YES! You're talking to me!" He let out a content sigh, "Now I can finally breathe again."

"You're such a drama queen, now let me sleep, I've been lacking it for the last few days because of you."

"No, you are the drama queen here, ignoring me and all, that was really too much", he replied.

"Whatever", I mumbled, "We'll talk about your mistakes tomorrow, just let me sleep now."

"Okay, we'll do that", Jason sounded kind of thrilled..."I'm just happy you're talking to me again, my life is complete now."

"Again, drama queen. Good night", I rolled my eyes.

"Good night Broccoli."

I sighed, "Shut your mouth and close your eyes."

There were only four days left until I'd go back to England for Christmas, and when I thought of that this morning, I realised that I still had to buy Trevor's and Damien's presents.

So that's why I was in a bus right now, on my way to a decent mall to get them their stuff. It was already getting dark, and I was cussing myself out for always procrastinating everything. Sure, I still had four days before I left, but I still needed to pack. And find my airline ticket to see how late I'd have to be at the airport. And sort my schoolwork out so I wouldn't get into trouble after school. And make a part of the choreography of mine and Rania's dance.

I still needed to do a lot of things and with all the distractions I had around me, it would be a huge achievement if I could do that all in four days.

And I knew I could just buy them their presents when I was back in London, but I wanted to be nice and bring some souvenirs back for them.

When the bus finally stopped at the mall, it was already 9:15PM and I wouldn't have a lot of time to find the presents, and when I walked inside the Target, it started raining a bit. The first Californian rain I'd ever seen.

I had asked Katelyn for a place where I could buy hilarious socks, and she'd told me that Target would have some. I hadn't heard of it before, since they didn't have any stores in Great Britain, but it was pretty popular here apparently.

When I found the aisle where the socks were at, I picked the ugliest ones I could find so Damien would have enough to wear for the rest of the year, all in the Christmas mood, with reindeers and yetis and gingerbread cookies and stuff like that. It was kinda a tradition of us, I'd buy him a bunch of Christmas socks, and then he'd get me an extremely bad smelling perfume.

I got a pair of socks for Trevor too, though. They were red with a strip of white wool on the top, that said naughty in bold letters. It suited his personality.
