Losing hope is something I thought would never happen
I always taught I would have it forever
Always in my back pocket
But I sat
there the words bouncing off of me like usual
Yet a particular line got me a word that hurted like no other
I couldn't believe how a simple word
Could have me questioning
My life
Why I was given it?
The thought flowed through me Thoughts of suicide
Punishment
Blame
Blame that it was my fault
For the troubles caused
Now after that word slowly
I'm losing hope
