You had been watching Loki through your window for the better part of an hour, and it was starting to get boring. You stood up from your chair and paced the room a couple of times, trying to decide what to do. Your eyes landed on the door that led to the room that Loki's cell was in, and you looked at it curiously.
You wondered what the God of Mischief was like in real life. You had heard stories but had never personally met him. You took a couple of steps towards the door, still debating whether or not it would be a good idea. But, eventually, you decided to go in. After all, you had to live here for who knows how long with Loki, might as well learn what he's like.
You twisted the knob on the door and opened it, walking through it. You looked at the cage and Loki seemed to immediately notice your presence as his sharp eyes stared in your direction, watching as you closed the door and locked it before walking closer to the cell.
You watched as his gaze was hard and cold, as if nothing could bother him, as if there was no shred of emotions left. That's what everyone wanted you to believe, at least. But, you had hoped it wasn't true. There was a chair, just outside Loki's cell, so you sat in it, locking your eyes with his.
"And who might you be?" Loki asked with a ridiculously attractive accent. You took in his features. Beautiful, intense, blue eyes, long, raven-black hair that was slicked back, and a sharp jawline, wearing fascinating black and green Asgardian garments. You couldn't lie, you found him attractive, but you hoped that he didn't know that, otherwise you would be in serious trouble.
Little did you know that while you were checking him out, he was doing the same, moving his piercing eyes over every inch of your body. "My name is Y/N Y/L/N, I was the agent put in charge of watching you while you are held here," you explained giving him a small smile.
"What did you do to deserve that, I wonder?" Loki asked curiously, a mischievous smile dancing on his face as he raised an eyebrow. "Well, according to Fury, it's because I'm the best," you replied, your small smile beginning to form into a smirk. Loki let out a low chuckle before saying, "Oh, I don't doubt that. But still, you are no match for me."
You smiled a little and looked down before standing up from your chair and walking closer to the cell, forcing Loki to take a couple of steps closer to you as well. "Well then, it's a good thing that you are in there, and I'm out here," you stated, tapping on the glass a little.
"Not for long," Loki responded. "You think so?" you asked, intrigued by the conversation. "I know so. One of these days, you're going to let me out," he said, walking closer to the glass. So close that, if the glass wasn't there, you could have felt his breath on your face. "And what makes you think that?" you questioned, raising an eyebrow, curious about his thought process.
"It's simple, really. I'm quite the charmer and based on the way you've been looking at me, I doubt you will be able to resist me for too much longer," Loki stated, smirking more than ever. Your lips parted slightly as a blush began to form on your face, but you quickly hid it by looking down. You knew that you couldn't let Loki see any of your emotions. Loki smirked as he saw your reaction, finding you more amusing than any other average human.
You returned your gaze back to his and he slightly raised his eyebrows, as if he was anticipating your answer. "Maybe, but all I have to do is remember how much you hate us humans, and I'm sure you'll become a lot less charming," you stated.
The resting smirk on Loki's face never faded as he replied, "Not all humans, apparently." You bit the inside of your lip to hide the smile that was beginning to form. You and Loki just continued to stare into each other's eyes for a moment, before you looked at the wall of his cell. You pointed to a red button on the wall and said, "See that button? Push it if you need anything."
"What if I just want to chat?" Loki asked innocently. "Well, you are the God of Mischief, you can make an illusion of yourself and talk to it. I'm sure it'll keep you entertained, I've heard that you are quite charming," you replied, walking towards the door.
Loki let out a small chuckle as he watched as you started to leave. You began to open the door, but then looked back towards Loki to see him watching you walk away. "I'll see you soon, Loki," you stated. Loki hesitated for a moment, but then nodded his head slightly, his own personal way of acknowledging your existence.
You looked at him for a second longer and then walked through the door, pulling it shut behind you. You locked the door and looked out the window in the control room at Loki. He was pacing his cage, seeming as if he was deep in thought, and looking as if he was confused by something.
You didn't exactly know what this new mission of yours was going to entail, but whatever it was, it was going to be something new. Something interesting. You walked out of the control room and into the living room of the bunker. You turned on the TV and curled up onto the couch, pulling a blanket over you as you began to flip through things on Netflix. Thank God that Fury had set you up with a bunch of different luxuries to enjoy while you had to stay here.
You finally found your favorite TV show and turned it on, laying your head on the pillow as you began to feel yourself doze off.
