You woke up the next morning, well rested, laying on the couch with the blanket from the last night draped over you, keeping you warm. Your eyes fluttered open and a small smile rested on your face as you remembered how much fun you and Loki had last night. You then quickly sat up, panic setting in as you realized that Loki wasn't in the same room as you.
You combed your fingers through your hair and stood up, wrapping the blanket around you. You then began to walk around the bunker. "Loki?" you called, walking into the kitchen. You found Loki there, standing at the oven, trying to cook some eggs.
You gave him a small smile as you asked, "Are you making breakfast?" He looked over at you and replied, "Trying to." You laughed and looked at the flour, milk, eggs, and other ingredients spread across the counter. You walked closer to Loki and noticed the flour that stained his right cheek; as if he dipped his hand in the flour and brushed it across his cheek.
You chuckled and he looked at you. "What?" he asked. "Nothing, you just have some flour on your cheek. Here," you replied, wiping some of the flour off with your thumb. He was stunned for a moment and you dropped your hand, clearing your throat.
Loki returned his gaze back to the eggs, hiding the small smile that threatened to form. He finished the eggs a couple of minutes later and put them on two plates, handing you one of the plates. You both sat at the table, and he watched as you took a bite of your eggs, waiting to see your reaction. You placed the food in your mouth and smiled in appreciation.
"Are they good?" Loki asked. You nodded your head and replied, "They're perfect." Loki smiled as he ate his eggs as well. The two of you talked a little as you ate breakfast, and Loki told you how much he loved the movie you put on the night before, which made you happy.
After that, noticing that Loki had been a messy cooker, you suggested he take a shower. He agreed and went upstairs to take a shower while you cleaned up the plates, putting them in the dishwasher. You then went to the bathroom in your bedroom and took a shower as well, getting ready for the day.
When you were done getting ready, you went downstairs to find Loki on the couch in the living room watching something on the TV. You sat next to him to find that he had turned on Harry Potter. "This is much different than my kind of magic," Loki muttered, making you laugh a little.
After the two of you had watched a couple of the movies, Loki had turned off the TV and turned to face you. You raised an eyebrow expectantly, waiting for him to say something, but he seemed speechless and deep in thought as if he was analyzing the movie. You chuckled at the facial expression he was making and he moved his eyes to lock with yours.
The two of you just stared into each others' eyes for a moment, getting lost in them. For a moment, it seemed like the cold facade that Loki always had was fading. Loki blinked and then looked down clearing his throat.
"Um, what do you want to do next?" you asked Loki trying to keep it from being awkward. "I don't know, what would you like to do?" he questioned. You thought for a moment, before standing up and walking to a cabinet in the kitchen. Loki followed you, curious to know what you were doing.
You opened the cabinet and pulled out different bottles of alcohol, before reaching into a different cabinet and pulling out two glasses. Loki raised an eyebrow as you passed him and walked into the living room.
Again, Loki followed you and you sat down on the couch, placing the two glasses on the table, before setting down the glass bottles as well. Loki sat next to you on the couch, and you began to explain. "I'm guessing you haven't tried a lot of our Midgardian drinks, and since we have all the time in the world, might as well have some fun," you stated with a small smile, nervous about what Loki would say.
He had a small smirk resting on his face as he asked, "Do you really think that your liquor is strong enough to have any effect on me?" You smirked back and replied, "Only one way to find out."
He smiled a little and nodded his head, looking at the bottles. He pointed to a brown one and asked, "What do you call this one?" You picked the bottle up and poured it in the two glasses, handing one of them to Loki. "This is whiskey," you told him, watching as he took a drink of it, making a face that could only be described as adorable.
The two of you tried different drinks, mixing the whiskey with different things. You stopped when you had a buzz, but Loki kept drinking until he was slightly out of it. He needed a lot more than you, which you found interesting. Luckily, the alcohol didn't make either of you sick, but it definitely impaired your thinking.
You and Loki began talking about things you nor he never thought you would. He told you about how he used to be, how much he used to admire Thor and how good he always tried to be. You opened up about the most painful things about your past, things you promised yourself you would never tell another soul.
Neither you nor Loki were sure why you were both saying such personal things, but you were both sure about two things. One, the walls you had both put up were crumbling and there was nothing that could stop it. Two, the only thing that made you or him feel better was each other.
"Okay, I think we have both had enough to drink for one night," you stated when Loki began singing Asgardian songs, very loudly. You couldn't help but laugh along with him. "Come on, you can sleep in the extra room in this place," you told him. Loki nodded and stood up, trying to stabilize himself a bit. You stood up as well and grabbed his arm when you almost fell.
You walked alongside Loki, holding onto his arm to stabilize both yourself and him, as you both made you way to the "guest" room. Not like there was actually ever going to be a guest in the bunker, so you wondered why it was there.
You and Loki reached the door after a few more moments and he turned so that he was facing you, with his back right in front of the door. "This was fun," he said, smiling. This was the first time in a long time he had any kind of fun. "It was, I especially enjoyed your Asgardian remixes," you said, laughing, leaning in a little without even realizing it.
Loki laughed along with you, and when you leaned in slightly, his mind, clouded, took it as a hint to something more. Without even thinking, he pulled you into a kiss. You let out a small gasp as his lips landed on yours, but you kissed back immediately.
The kiss became a little more passionate as your hands went to his hair and his rested on your hips. There was so much emotion in the kiss. Neither you nor Loki realized how much you wanted it. The kiss was so extraordinary that it began to sober up both you and Loki. And as soon as Loki realized what was happening, he pulled away, looking down right away, trying to figure out why he had let himself be so vulnerable.
You just slowly opened your eyes, in shock from what just happened. Loki tried to build up the walls he had let fall, but he couldn't, not while he was around you, and that scared him more than anything. "Loki," you started to say, but you were cut off, when Loki just walked into the room, slamming the door and locking it.
You stared at the closed door, shocked, confused, and feeling like you did something wrong. After another moment, you walked to your bedroom and laid down on the bed, trying to think of what you did to make him so mad at you. But sleep overtook you before you could figure it out.
