Chapter 5: Disappointment

I'm going to use events/games that were in the episodes but imma give them their own little change. (Once again, I don't own fairytail or any of the characters).

Also, there's a sting x reader moment in this chapter. For those who don't like these Sting x reader moments then I'm sorry but don't worry, it won't last long and it's nothing serious. Anyway, thanks for reading, hope you enjoy :)

Since Yukino was fighting next, the other four of you walked with Yukino to the waiting alley, " You really have to score some points on this one, since someone screwed up in the chariot game." Rufus said as Sting immediately glared at Rufus with a side-eye, making you lightly laugh.

" I know but Sting is not to blame for that, the fact that the game involved vehicles was unfortunate." Yukino said looking into the arena.

Sting just turned his head the other way. " We can't change that now. I just hope you know what you gotta do, we're counting on you."

" I knocked her out easily so it shouldn't be too hard for you either Yukino." You said as you watched Kagura from the other side.

Yukino began walking to the field, " Yes, I will not tarnish the name Sabertooth and I will achieve victory without fail."

As you guys returned to the viewing area, 
Yukino was already talking to Kagura about making bets like the other competitors before,
" Let's wager.... our lives." She said, seriousness written all over her face.

Sting rested his head on his hand, smirking at the bet.

" Well I wanna see how this turns out," You commented, looking down.

" Facing a Sabertooth member in battle is quite an unfortunate fate." Yukino said as she pulled out one of her celestial keys and summoned Pisces.

" Let's just hope she can win this." You said, carefully analyzing Yukino's movements.

Yukino's match with Kagura had already last at least 10 minutes, making you somewhat uneasy, " I wonder what's taking her so long."

Yukino summoned the 13th zodiac gate whic caused Lector to smile confidently, " That chick is in for it now."

It wasn't long after though that Kagura defeated it and Yukino fell to the ground, failing to win.

She made Sabertooth lose. All of you were shocked and speechless, Rufus looked down disappointed, " We needed those points."

You glared down at Yukino as she was still lying on the arena floor and scoffed, " I suppose all celestial wizards are weak."

You looked over to Sting. He was furious which caused him to make a dent in the border of the booth. Rogue didn't say anything but he looked pissed off.

Yukino returned crying without saying anything. The hosts announced the final score for the second day and Yukino left before you all did.
