Chapter 7: Realizations

Natsu's POV

After (y/n) left Lucy in a critical condition during their battle, I felt nothing but enraged. As much as I wanted to knock that cocky grin off her face, I couldn't do anything about it or else Fairytail's team could get disqualified.

" You don't know what actually happened to my mom on the year X777 Natsu, so stop talking about what you don't know." (Y/n) replied with a grave expression on her face, she turned around and walked away from the arena.

My glare toward her instantly dissolved, 'She called her dragon her mom.'

" C'mon Natsu we have to go check on Lucy in the recovery room," Erza said breaking my train of thought. After we ran to the recovery room, Porlyusica had already began treating her.

" How long will she take to wake up?" Gray asked

" The Sabertooth Dragon Slayer severely injured her in many places with powerful attacks. To be honest, I don't think she's going to wake up until the next few weeks."

" What?! The next few weeks?! The damage was that bad?!" I shouted when Porlyusica said that. I didn't expect the damage to knock her out for the next weeks. I knew (y/n) said it'd be like that, but I just thought she was bluffing.

" Don't shout in the recovery room! I'm doing the best I can. Now leave, you're all disturbing me."

" I was worried something like this would've happened." Gray said after we left the room.

" I was worried too, Cana told me how she couldn't land a hit on her," Erza replied as they both rambled on.

As much as I was worried about Lucy, I began thinking about what (y/n) said.

' She knows something about the year 777. I just know it, I mean she called her dragon her mother. She must have cared for her to some level. Plus she said I don't know what happened so does that mean she didn't kill her dragon like Sting and Rogue did? I can tell she was being serious, she didn't call me some nickname that she usually does either. I need to talk to her about her dragon."

" Natsu!" Gray was waving his hand in front of my face, making me look up at him.

" We're gonna go watch Wendy's battle before it starts. You wanna come or stay?"

" Uh I'll stay just in case Porlyusica needs something."

Once Erza and Gray left to go to the booth, I began walking around the colosseum.
' I know you're hiding something about the year 777 (y/n).'

" (y/n) from Sabertooth is the winner of this drastic one-sided battle. Next up is Wendy Marvell from Fairy tail vs Shelia from LamiaScale." Commented Mr.Yajima.

Sting noticed how bothered you were from Natsu's comment, " Hey, don't let what Natsu said get to you. He's just angry that his friend didn't win, but honestly what'd he expect."
