Chapter 17: Getting Settled

"(Y/n)! Are you okay?" Summer comes barging in your room followed by Sting and Rogue.

You nod your head, " Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

Sting crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow at you, " Well you and Natsu were about to kiss and you just pulled away like that. You know, he seemed pretty sad after you left him hanging like that. By the way, why'd you pull away?!"

"I'm not exactly sure. I guess thoughts about being in different guilds started flooding my mind and that caused me to pull away. I guess I didn't really wanna start something romantically from someone in a different guild." You shrugged, somewhat frowning.

Sting and Rogue glanced at each other as Sting sat down "About that (y/n), I've been meaning to ask you something. Well, maybe not ask but confront you with something."

Sting was about to say something but Rogue covered his mouth. Sting looked at Rogue as he just slightly shook his head.

"(Y/n) you should tell them." Summer sighed

For a second, you didn't know what Summer was talking about but you quickly caught on, making you nervous.

"Oh um... that... well. Uh." You kept stuttering, not knowing how to tell Sting and Rogue.

"Oh for goodness sakes (y/n)! They're your best friends, just tell them." Summer demanded.

'They ARE my best friends. That's what makes it so much harder...'

You took a deep breath, "Before I say anything, I just wanna say that you're my closest friends and I never want to lose that. I love you guys a lot and I just hope that you guys won't get upset with me with what I'm gonna say."

You paused for a second, looking down, "I really love it here in Sabertooth and I love the memories I created here... but I want to move to Fairytail."

"I'm assuming the main reason is Natsu?" Sting raised his eyebrow at you.

You nodded once.

"Why do you think we'd be upset over that? It's confirmed that you and Natsu are already practically dating so we're not going to stand in the way of that. We want you to be happy and if that makes you happy then do it." Sting smiled at you.

"We've been knowing but we just thought it'd be better if you'd told us instead of us confronting you about it. If you're going to leave Sabertooth then... at least visit us a lot, alright?" Rogue faintly smiled at you as you hugged both Sting and Rogue.

"Of course I'm going to visit! Thank you both for always being supportive. I don't know what'd I do without you guys."

"So when are you planning on moving guilds?" Sting asked, pulling away from the hug.

" Well, tomorrow in the morning I was supposed to meet Natsu during sunrise at South Gate Park, although I'm not sure if he's still going considering what happened tonight. But I'll like to be in Fairytail before I meet up with him as a surprise."

"That's so early!" Rogue yawned at just the thought as you giggled.

"I'm sure he'll show up. I doubt Natsu is the type of guy to leave you hanging like that." Sting assured.
