Chapter 6: Rumors, Rumors, Rumors

I'm going to use events/games that were in the episodes but imma give them their own change. Also there's a sting x reader moment in this chapter. It was day 3 of the Grand Magic Games. You, Sting, Lector and Summer were walking together to the Domus Flau. A lot of people had magazines and some of those people were looking at you guys as you walked by.

" Why is everyone looking at you guys like that?" Summer asked as she flew next to you, you shrugged, not sparing them a passing glance.

You heard Frosch's voice behind you, " Hey guys, wait for us."

You turned around and Rogue simply walked next to you guys with a smirk on his face. Rogue put one arm around Sting and walked beside him which left Sting confused, " What's got you smiling like that?"

" So did you guys enjoy kissing each other?" Rogue asked as he pulled out a magazine from sorcerer weekly.

The two of you stopped walking and snatched the magazine out of his hand. You looked at the  magazine front cover and there was the picture of the two of you kissing from last night.

" Is that why everyone was looking at us like that?" Sting said as he looked over at the magazine.

You read the heading of the cover out loud, " Sabertooth dragon slayers dating rumors confirmed. Powerhouse couple. Go to page 3 for the complete article."

Summer interrupted you guys as you were about to turn the page, " I bet you two are wondering what was said about you two dating but we have to get to the Domus Flau."

You looked at the time, realizing you were about to be late, " Oh crap, let's go."

You, Sting, Rogue and the exceeds made it into the viewing booth just in time, but your biggest concern now was the magazine. You and Sting stood next to each other as you continued to read the article, " Sabertooth's Sting and (y/n) were out on a romantic date last night in the city of Crocus. When asked questions about the dating rumors, all they did was share a passionate kiss against the wall. Sorry to disappoint everyone that hoped for Rogue and (y/n) together."

Sting looked over to Rogue who was still smirking as you guys read the article out loud," It wasn't a date, we were just getting drinks together and walked around the city for a while."

" Yeah, and when the reporter asked us those questions, Sting and I just wanted to mess around with him so we kissed." You added

You heard a voice behind you guys," If you're not actually dating then I think you two should continue the act as if you are a couple. It'll bring more popularity and attention to Sabertooth." 

You guys turned around and Minerva was there. Both you and Sting looked at each other, thinking about it for a moment.

" Well she's right, it'll be fun messing with the rumors. Besides if we have to kiss again, I wouldn't mind." Sting said as he chuckled.

You smiled at Sting's comment as the hosts began opening the 3rd day of the games.

You and Sting were standing on the border of the viewing booth like always. Chaptai showed the scoreboard and presented the guest host and talked about other things relevant to the games.

The hosts suddenly began talking about a certain magazine topic, " Hey. I have a question for the audience and for the other hosts here today. Did you guys read the new sorcerer weekly magazine that came out today? Apparently two extremely powerful wizards that are here in the Grand Magic Games kissed last night."
