"I'm so glad we're finally back in the guild." You rested your head on your hand, with your eyes closed.

A sudden slam from the table caused you to open your eyes. It was Natsu with his usual grin, "Hey (y/n), did you rest well enough?"

You nodded, " Yeah, still have a little pain from the fighting yesterday but I'm fine."

"Hey so, I was wondering... if you're free, would you maybe just want to walk around Magnolia together and just spend the day with each other." Natsu seemed a little nervous.

Your cheeks turned a faint pink from his question but you nodded to accept. As you got up to go out with him, Erza, Gray, and Wendy called you both.

" Hey we're going on a mission in some minutes, you guys coming?" Gray asked as you guys turned around to see them.

Natsu shook his head, "We're going to sit this one out. We have something else to do."

Happy flew beside Ezra, " We should go on the mission Summer. I think Natsu wants a little privacy." He started snickering and Summer's eyes widened as if she realized something, then she flew next to Happy, " I'll go on this mission with them for today."

You slightly raised an eyebrow at the two of them, confused. Natsu grabbed your hand as you two both began walking out of the guild in somewhat of a rush, "We'll see you guys later then."

As you passed the doors of the guild and into the city, the both of you decided to head to the magnolia south-gate park first.

"Is it just me or does the park look a lot more empty than usual?" You asked looking around, leaning on one of the trees.

"Now that I think about it, it was pretty empty on our way here too. I don't think there's a holiday today." Natsu replied, also looking around. You felt like today was something special but you couldn't remember what it was, " Well, it's better this way. We have more privacy."

You smiled at Natsu and he returned the smile, "I love seeing you smile."

Looking away so Natsu wouldn't see you blush, your smile turned wider with that compliment. He walked in front of you and gently grabbed your chin so you could look at him, " Hey, don't be shy. What happened to that cocky badass from the grand magic games?" Natsu asked, laying down on the grass as he chuckled and let go of your chin.

You followed Natsu and laid down on the grass as you giggled due to his question, " Hey! Did you not see me yesterday in my fight with Orga? I can still act like that. It's just... I can bring my guard down around you."

" I knew you were a big softie when we first argued," Natsu said proudly.

" Pffttt, no you didn't." You scoffed. Natsu turned to you, resting the side of his head on his hand.

"Oh really?" Natsu raised an eyebrow as you were still laying on your back, resting your head on your hands and nodding your head.

All of a sudden, Natsu gets on top of you and begins tickling you which made you burst out in laughter.

"Okay! Okay! Whatever you say! Just stop!" You insisted in between laughs. Once he did stop, he was hovering over you and both of your expressions softened. It was quiet, neither of you said a word.
