Save Me Tonight (One Direction Fanfic)

Chapter 7

I only slept for four hours. I awoke to my phone vibrating, it was Cameron. I groggily sat up and clicked ANSWER.

"Hello?" I asked, my voice low and tired. 

"Hey! Do you want to go to the movies with the girls and I?" She asked, obviously she got sleep. I turned to my side and saw Jonah, still sleeping. 

"Yeah sure I'll call you back when I get ready." I croaked, still wanting to fall back to sleep. I hung up my phone and got up. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. After throwing on a pair of red shorts and a powder blue V-neck T-shirt I shook Jonah awake. 

"Mhm, what?" He gurgled, his face still in the pillow. He waved his arm over in my direction, as if trying to swat me like a fly. 

"I'm going for a little bit." I informed. This time he shot up, he still looked half asleep.

"Are you working a double shift today?" He asked, his face slamming back onto the bed. I suddenly lit up, I've never lied to Jonah. If I did over the years, my life could be so much better. 

"Yes I'll be back at midnight, if I don't come home then that means I was to tired so I crashed there, okay?" I lied. He just waved his arm again and fell back asleep. A surge of happiness ran through my body, today is my day off. I could stay at Cameron's! I'm just a few steps away from leaving this man, I couldn't wipe this smile off my face. 

I took a brush to my wild jungle of hair on my head. I managed to tame it with a bit of fighting. I applied a bit of makeup and grabbed my purse. I dialed Cameron's number, while running out of the house. A rush of warm air shoved past me, it felt good. I felt good. I could anything today, it didn't matter! I had to call Louis soon.

"Hey Jen! Meet us at the Galaxy Cinema's." Cameron said before hanging up. I nodded and headed for the subway, skipping like a little girl. When I entered the underground station I started to feel even better. These people down here had real lives, and I have just started mine. Maybe haven't started it, but I'm so close I could almost touch it, freedom.

When I arrived at the Cinema, Cameron, Vanessa, Violet, and Isabella were standing in the front waiting for me. They starting waving, signaling where they were. Those girls are my life, so beautiful and have never lost faith in me. I ran up to them, a huge smile plastered on my face.

"What's up with you?" Vanessa asked while returning my smile. 

"I met someone, and I have the whole day and night of freedom!" I exclaimed my smile growing with every word. I saw all of they're faces light up.

"You met someone? Who!?" Violet screeched while jumping up and down.

"His name is Louis, he makes me happy." I beamed, my face light. 

"No way... LOUIS TOMLINSON?!" Isabella exclaimed with happiness, I remembered she was there at work when they requested me.

"Yes, he told me I'm wonderful company and he kissed me on the cheek." I babbled, I felt like I was going to faint right then and there. The girls must have seen that I was in my own world because they started waving they're hands in front of my face. I giggled as they did, completely lost in my thoughts. 

"We better get our tickets and get to the theatre." Vanessa suggested while opening the front doors. We all listened and walked into the Cinema. 

"What are we seeing?" I asked, still a little out of it.

"I Love You Darling." Violet answered, focusing on buying her ticket. Sounded very romantic, maybe I can get some pointers. Oh, god, I'm getting way ahead of myself. I've only had one date with this boy, even if spending a few hours with him I felt something that I haven't felt in three years with Jonah. Well maybe I'm not ahead of myself.
