Chapter 3: Temptations

Hi! I'm sorry if I haven't updated in a while, it's because I'm busy with school. Ugh, the school year just started and I'm already stressed. Thank you to Fiawin for commenting on chapter 1 (even though I don't know you). To tell you the truth, you are my first ever comment and it feels really good! :) Anyway, here's the update!

Hotarou's POV

"Hotarou, wake up! You need to go to school."  Nee-san nagged, again. She constantly tells me to wake up whenever I oversleep.

"Okay, okay. Can you leave my room now?" I asked.

"I will, only when I see you getting out of bed myself." she said. I just did what she said and quickly went to the bathroom. After taking a shower, I put on my uniform and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Hotarou, someone is here for you. She's a girl with purple eyes and long hair. Do you know her?" she asked. I almost choked when I heard that. Why is Chitanda here?

"What's wrong?" Nee-san asked when she saw me coughing.

"Nothing. Just let her in already." I said while grabbing a glass of water. She then let her in and Chitanda greeted me with a smile.

"Ohayou, Oreki-san!" 

"Ohayou." I greeted back.

"Have you eaten breakfast yet?" Nee-san asked her.

"Yes, I've eaten already. I'm just going to wait for him." Chitanda said.

"You heard her, Hotarou. You shouldn't keep a girl waiting." she said.

"Hai hai!" I said and I ate as fast as I could. After eating, I excused myself to go upstairs to brush my teeth and get my things.

Eru Chitanda's POV

Oreki-san left us and so now I am left with his sister. We were just quiet because it's our first time to meet. Something looks familiar about her though...  

"Have I met you somewhere before?"  My thoughts were disturbed when suddenly she asked me a question.

"U-umm... I'm not sure." I answered.

"But I do feel like I've seen you before." I said. After a while of thinking, I finally remembered.

"Ah!" Both of us said that at the same time. It was such a coincidence so I laughed a little. Then I finally asked, "Did you go to school during the festival last year?"

"I did. So you were that girl." she said. Then Oreki-san went downstairs.

"What's with all the commotion?" he asked.

"It seems that we met each other during the festival." Oreki-san's sister said.

"Oh..." he plainly answered.

"Anyway, you two should go to school now. You might get late." Oreki-san's sister said while ruffling Oreki-san's hair.

"And you..." she pointed to me.

"Me?" I pointed myself.

"Take care out there." she said, smiling.

"Thank you, Oreki-san's sister!" I bowed 90 degrees.

"You can call me Tomoe nee-san." she said.

"Onee-san!" Oreki-san complained a little. He was blushing. I don't know if I'm just imagining things but it's my first time to see that kind of face from him. I smiled at what I was seeing. I wish I had an older sister.
