Chapter 6: Surprised?

Tomoe Oreki's POV

Uuuggghhh~ such a bummer. My trip to Czech Republic got cancelled. Well, at least I can stay and surprise Hotarou. Hehehe...

Oh, Hotarou's here. Get ready for a surprise, Hotarou. I go behind the couch, and then...

"Surprise!" ^___^

Hotarou: ...............

Hm? What's wrong with him?

"Oh, you're home." he said. Wait a minute here... something's wrong about him.

"You're not one bit surprised?" I ask.

"Why?"  Seriously?!

"I thought I told you that I was going to be gone?" I said.

"Oh yeah..." he said. There's really something wrong with him. He's not the usual Hotarou I know.

"Hotarou, is there something bothering you?" I ask. His eye twitches a little. Did I hit the jackpot?

"W-Well..."

"C'mon. You can say anything to me." I said.

"C-Can you visit my clubmate for me? She caught a cold." he said. Oooooohhh~ so that's what he was worried about. He should have just said it straight up!

"Sure. But why don't you-"

"Are you going or not?" he asked.

"Okay, okay. Just let me change my clothes first. Oh, and write her address." 

"Sure." 

~Current time (after 1 hour)~ ***At Chitanda's House***

Eru Chitanda's POV

I don't know why I am disappointed. It seems that when my mother said Oreki, she meant Oreki-san's sister. Well... they are both Oreki but... I still feel disappointed. But why?

"So, are you feeling well?" Tomoe nee-san asked.

"I feel much better than I did before." I smiled.

"Well, that's good to know." she smiles back. She's really nice, but why is she here though?

"May I just ask why you are here?" I ask. She smiles more.

"Hotarou was worried about you so he asked me to visit you. I don't know why he couldn't visit you himself though..." she said. That statement made me smile. It feels good to know that he worried about me.

"It's okay. At least I know that he cares." I said. 

"Do you want some tea? I'm going to make some." I said.

"Sure! ^__^ Let me help." she offered.

"It's okay, you don't need to. You're my guest." I smiled.

"But you still need to rest. Come on, just let me help. It won't hurt right?" she insisted.

"Fine. You can help." I give in.

"Okay! Let's start!" she enthusiastically said. I lead her to the kitchen.

"This is a nice house." she said while looking around.

"Well, my parents own a big business in farming." I said.

"Oh..." she nods her head and looks around a bit more. Now that I think about it her eyes and Oreki-san's look alike. It must be really nice to have a sister.

"Here we are!" I say as soon as we arrive in the kitchen. We start making tea and after we were done, we sat down and drank our tea.

"Can I ask you a question?" she breaks the silence. I nod my head to signal her to do so since I was drinking my tea.

"Do you like Hotarou?" I choked on my tea.

"Oh! Are you okay? Here, let me help you." she said then started patting my back while I was coughing. I finally managed to stop after a while.

"Um... why the sudden question?" I ask first before answering her question.

"Well, of course because I'm his older sister and I want to know if I can trust the people around him." she said.

"Oh. Well then, since you're asking, I'll tell you." she scoots closer so that she can listen carefully.

"Y-Yes. I do like him....."

~The next day~ ***At school***

Fast forward to lunch time》》》

Ibara Mayaka's POV

"Chi-chan!!!" She's finally back!

"Oh! Mayaka-san!" she smiles as she sees me.

"Are you okay? What happened?" I asked her.

"Oh, it's nothing. I just got a cold, that's all." she said.

"Are you sure? Let me check." I put the back of my hand on her forehead. Hmm... feels normal.

"Yup! You're all healed." I said.

"I'm really sorry. I must have worried you." she said.

"It's okay, Chii-chan. I understand." I said.

"Come on. Let's go eat lunch!" I said.

Fast forward to dismissal time XD>>>

"Mayaka-san, are you coming with me?" Chii-chan asked. I shook my head.

"I'm sorry. I have plans." I say sadly.

"It's okay. Anyway, bye." she waved her hand and walked away. I walk away too to the meeting place we planned on. The park...

"Oh hey!" He greeted as I arrived at the park.

"Hi. Shall we start our date now, Fuku-chan?"

Surprised? Haha, lol XD It's not really surprising to me but... just for the sake of having a title. I'm really sorry for the late and short update. But hey, at least I worked hard for the exams last week and guess what? I only got four mistakes in Math! Woo hoo~ and I have the highest Math score in my class. Yehet! (lol, Exo) Anyway, I'll shut up now and maybe I'll say more in the next updates to come =)
