School Days

I wake up to my alarm screaming at me. I shut it off and roll out of bed. I walk over to my closet and grab my undergarments, socks, my favorite hoodie that has a full moon on it, and black ripped jeans. I walk out of my room to see Zion dancing while brushing his teeth. I roll my eyes before walking into the bathroom and doing my morning routine; brushing my teeth, lotioning, doing my eyebrows, adding mascara and highlighter and finishing it with lip gloss, and lastly, brushing my hair out before putting it into a bun. I lock the door and get dressed. Afterwards I grab my bag from my room and slide on my slides. "Lets go!" Zion shouts.

"I'm coming!" I grab my earphones and phone and we leave. "You can just get up later instead of rushing me."

"Or you can get ready earlier with yo slow ass." He drives off and I ignore him for the rest of the ride. We get to school and part ways.

"Hey girl!" Luna greets me.

"Hi," I smile.

"Zaya!" I turn around just in time to be tackled by Skye. We both fall down, laughing. "I missed you!" She kisses my cheek and rolls off me.

"I was sick for 2 days. 2!" We both stand up and dust ourselves off.

"That's 2 days too long. Math, Business and Marketing, and Spanish weren't the same without you."

"You have Luna in those classes with you too."

"I know, but you enlighten the classes. She's all goody two shoes when you're not around," I laugh a little.

"Shut up!" Luna punches Skye and she punches her back. "Both of your asses have no right to miss school. I look like a loner otherwise and school is boring and I can't deal with these annoying ass people all day without you guys," I smile a little. Knowing how much they missed me makes me feel kinda special.

"She's not wrong," Skye laughs. The bell rings and we all head to Algebra together.
