Halloween

"Horror movie marathon?" Skye asks.

"Horror movie marathon!" Luna shouts.

"Aye what marathon?" Diego asks as him, Xavion, and Caleb walk up to us.

"Horror movie marathon. It's our tradition since 6th grade except now we don't go trick or treating. Instead, we go to the store and buy a shit load of candy and have a horror movie marathon every Halloween. And that usually means us missing school the next day," Skye explains.

"Can we join your tradition?" Xavion asks.

"Sure. This year it's at Skye's house. And better yet, her parents are out of town and her sister is gonna be staying with a friend tonight."

"Well I'll drive you guys to the store then," Diego says.

"I guess you gotta sit on my lap," Xavion sticks his tongue out at Luna. She rolls her eyes as we pack into his car. Diego drives off and I stare out of the window. Caleb puts his hand on my thigh and rubs it.

"You okay?" I look at him and nod my head. We reach the store and we all pile out. We walk inside and head to the candy section.

"Why do they always put the good candy on the top?" I mumble as I stare up at the big bag of gummy bears in the top shelf.

"Do you need help?" Caleb asks.

"No," I take my slides off and climb two selves and grab the bag. I jump down and put my slides back on. I look over at Caleb who's just staring at me. "What?"

"That had to be one of the cutest and funniest things I've ever see," I punch his arm.

"I've gotten used to it. She never wants our help," Luna says. I ignore them as I grab 4 different giant sized chocolate bars. Caleb grabs one bag of Dum Dums and another of Tootsie roll pops. I look at the cart which is pretty full now. "Lets get some drinks and leave." We walk over to the nest aisle. I get a pack of Arizona while Xavion gets a case of Orange soda. "Lets go! I got a list of movies to get through." We check out which ends up being $65. We pack the bags and leave. We reach Skye's house and head inside. We unload the bags into the kitchen and Luna goes into the living room to start the original Halloween movie. I open my cookies and creme hershy's bar. I turn around and Caleb takes a bite out of it.

"Caleb!" I groan. I push him away and walk into the living room.

"Get your attitude having ass back here," he grabs my arm and makes me face him. He scoops me up and walks me over to the couch. He sits me down and sits next to me. I put my feet up on his lap and eat my candy as the movie starts. He throws a blanket over us and Skye closes the blinds to make the room darker. I feel Caleb's hand sneak around until he reaches my thigh. He runs his nails over them which I secretly love. It's just so relaxing for some reason.

"I'm gonna get something to drink," I whisper to him.

"Me too," I roll my eyes as he gets up with me. We walk into the kitchen and I open the fridge. I bend down and grab 2 Arizona's. Caleb squeezes my butt and I gasp. I immediately stand up and face him.

"Stop!" I whine. "I don't want anyone to walk in on us."

"You're cute when you're shy." He pushes me up against the counter before picking me up and sitting me down on it. He's just a bit shorter than me now. "I know you liked it," I try to fight a smile, but it doesn't work out. "See, I knew it," he rests his hand on my butt and pulls me into him.

"Why do I like it that much?" I whisper.

"It's a mystery, but most girls do and it's normal. And it's a bonus for me because I like doing it," he squeezes it again which makes me jump a little.

"I guess I still gotta get used to being touched."

"Oh I can help with that!"

"Oh I know," I push him away and hop down.
