Chapter 5

"Thank you Miss Natsumi for looking after Hinami and can stay over at your place tonight."

"thank you Yoshimura and I will bring her back tomorrow" I waved at Yoshimura and grabbed Hinami's hand and we started to walk home but I felt like someone was like we're being watched and Hinami knows that too

"Mumma I feel scared" I pull her closer

"Me too sweetie, me too" We continue walking and i was feeling even more uneasy by the second so i decide to talk to Hinami to calm my nerves

"Hinami Chan I'm sorry you have to come to my place because I'm scared because of my roommate. He's also part of the CCG but in the S1 squad" She looks me in the eyes
"Who is he?" she said and I feel worried telling her

"Hes the CCG's Reaper Kishou Arima but you can call him Arima San" i say and she looked scared "Mumma I don't wanna do this now" i pick her up

"Don't worry, I'll protect you" and we arrive at our house

"Your house is pretty Mumma" i put her down

"Well it's Arima's that's why. He wanted to make sure I'm safe so he made me move in with him but hes always off doing missions so I'm alone most times." 

I opened the door and take off my shoes and so does Hinami "Arima San!!! We're home!!" i yell not knowing where he was and he walks out of the kitchen

"Welcome home Dear" he said walking up to me then hugging me and giving me a kiss on the cheek "Arima if you keep this up Hinami might think we're a couple"

"But its not a bad idea is it Yasha" he chuckled

"Not now Arima" he let go of me and I show little Hinami "So Arima this is my new daughter Hinami" She walked over to me and stood next to me hugging me

"Hello Sir" She was so shy. i bet she was really scared of Arima. Arima walked over to Hinami and knelt in front of her

"Hello Little Hinami I'm Arima and you can call me whatever you'd like"

"It's nice tot meet you Arima San" he chuckled

"Its nice to meet you too Hinami" he stood up "Anyway I made dinner for us to commemorate Hinami's arrival to our family" I looked at Hinami 'of course he did'

"I looks like its only going to be you and me" I say

"Hm why is that?" he looked at me weird. I walk over to the kitchen so we had room

"Oh her Grandfather made her dinner before she left with me and I want her to look around and settle in" Arima looks at me with a weird look

"Hm alright then but, where is she going to sleep?" He asked. i didn't think that through

"She can sleep with me because like i said over the phone shes going to stay with her grandfather" I stated "Alright well I'll serve up dinner while you show her around" Arima said walking to the benches and I walked up to my room with Hinami following me

"Thank you for saving me down there Mumma" She hugged me

"Anything for you sweetheart" i sat there hugging her

"Now Hinami I want you to have a shower and get ready for bed and i'll be back up" i stood up

"OK Mumma" i placed her clothes well some of my smaller clothes and put a towel down.

"Here you go and theres an ensuite over there" i point over to the ensuite "OK be safe and if you need any help just call out"

"OK Mumma" I left Hinami and went to see Arima then i sat at the table

"Thank you Arima for dinner" He put my plate in front of me

"It's not as good as yours but it tastes alright" I giggle

"I'll make breakfast and I'll make you lunch for tomorrow if you like" he looked at me with stars in his eyes "I'll take that as a yes, Jeez your so childish" I start to eat the meal which wasn't that bad but Arima could tell something was bothering me

"My love what's wrong, I can tell if somethings eating you up inside?" Jeez what do I tell him

"I'm not sure if I chose the right decision adopting Hinami and what she'd think of you" I looked away thinking it was silly and he laughed 'he's an asshole'

"Is that all?! You're such a mother" I threw my sock at him

"You're so mean to me Arima san!!"

"Only the best for you my love. Anyway about little Hinami, I think you did the right thing plus I think it'd be good for you. I don't mind if she loves or hates me and it doesn't matter. the only thing that matters is your lover for her and her love for you ok" His voice changed to a more sincere tone

"I guess your right but I cant help but worry" I said crossing my arms because I felt scared. Arima came up to me and kissed me on the cheek.

"You'll be fine but you shoul go check on her and ill wash up and I'll say goodnight after that" he got up and so did I then something unexpected happened

"Before you go" he knelt in front of me "Miss Yasha Natsumi, I know you might not like this but, I've had feelings for you for a long time and I cant wait any longer but will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend" he pulled out a box and gave it to me

"Arima san.... this is so unexpected....." I thought for a moment and cam to my conclusion "Yes!!! Arima San!!!! I will" I jump up and hug him

"Now open the box" I was giggling in joy while opening the box, it was a gold necklace with my initial engraved on the necklace

"Aww its so beautiful"

"Just like you" he took the necklace and put it around my neck "Now I can call you all those nicknames in public" He whispered in my ear

"Of course but now I need to check on our child" I whisper back then walked off and to my room where Hinami was laying in bed ready for me

"You seem happy Mumma" she yawned. I got in bed and tucked her in and kissed her forehead

"Yes sweetheart. Arima San asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes"

"That's wonderful Mumma but, I'm ready to sleep"

"Of course. Would you like me to tell you a story?"

"Yes please" I told her the story of Cinderella then, Arima walks in at the end

"And they all live happily ever after" he said

"I'm just here to say good night Hinami" he walked over to my bed and kissed me on the cheek and Hinami on the forehead "Night my two angels" Arima walked out

"He's really happy so don't worry about him. Good night Hinami" I wrap my arms around her

"Night Mumma" I fell asleep but for some reason I had a nightmare about my past. Well the night I met Arima San
