If there's something Pierce isn't too good at, it's feelings and handling them properly. You'd think a man with his age and experience would know a thing or two about being a good friend, but the closer he gets to you, the harder it gets for him to deal with it. You try to be there for him, especially when you can tell he has some personal issues of his own, but instead, he just pushes you away. Your attempts to be kind and caring are brutally rejected by him, and in the process, you feel like he's rejecting you as well, not wanting you in his life. However, you try not to blame him, which works out, because it only takes him a day to realize his mistake and come back to you with your favorite snacks to apologize.
