There's no denying that between Dan and Lucifer, there is a spark of disagreement and more potential for an argument rather than an alliance. But if there is something they have a shared opinion in, it's your boyfriend. They don't mean to tell you how to live your life, but anyone who's spent five minutes in the same room with you and your significant other, can tell that things are hardly perfect. He truly does not support your relationship, and while Dan takes a more rational approach, he actually agrees with Lucifer. He would consider you one of his closest friends, and hates to see you get less than you deserve, which is why he barely protests whenever Lucifer makes a blatant attempt to help you see the true nature of your boyfriend. With you, he is gentle and caring, but whenever he and Lucifer get to plotting together, he is nothing but defensiveness and protection for your poor heart.
