❝IMAGINE...❞When Lucifer offered to set Dan up on a blind date, he was exactly three things — reluctant, worried and doubtful. He was packed with bad expectations from head to toe, yet he agreed, leaving him waiting in anticipation for the upcoming weekend. The two of you were supposed to meet at a nearby restaurant — a classic date, perfect for getting to know each other — and when Dan finally lays eyes on you, the fear of going with Lucifer's ideas suddenly melts into nervous butterflies and he becomes almost giddy.
Even though the date starts out awkward and he spends a good half an hour waiting for you to drop some kind of bomb on him (metaphorical or literal), eventually Dan starts to wonder if Lucifer was really just being a good friend for once. It later turns out it was for you, not Dan, but nevertheless, he is satisfied. By the end of the night, he's more relaxed and happy than in a long time, and the same goes for you. The date has evidently been a success, and you're both more than eager to see each other again, even if you hate to admit that Lucifer's match-making skills aren't that bad, after all.
❝Okay, I gotta admit... When Lucifer said he wanted to set me up with someone, I was pretty sure I was about to make the biggest mistake of my life. But I think maybe it's the opposite. The best thing that could have happened.❞
