Lost (Camren)

Chapter 10

*Camila's POV*

I woke up to my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I said sleepy

"Hey" It was Lauren

"Oh hi."

"Um? What's up." she asked

"Well I was sleeping but its fine."

"Oh sorry. I was just wondering if you wanna go to the mall with me?"

"umm. sure" I replied

"Great I'll be there in 15 see you.." she hung up.

I rubbed my eyes and got up to do my morning routine. I walked downstairs. "Good morning Mami" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Mami is okay if I go to the mall with Lauren?" I asked. "Yes of course you can." she gave me a smile. "Thank you Mami." I said.

I  waited on Lauren. A few minutes later there was a knock.  I got up to answer. I met the familiar green eyes. "Hey" she said giving me a warm smile.  "Hi" I replied.  there was silence. She was just so beautiful. "Um so uh are you ready?" she finally asked. I nodded and we made our way to her car.

*Lauren's POV*

Camila is just so perfect. Everything about her. I feel myself falling for her in a way I've never done so. Even the smallest things ever draw me in even more.

By now I was more than sure that I was in love with my best friend. But I wasn't exactly sure that she would by any chance feel the same way. Although it kinda hurt knowing that, but I just want her to be happy.

"Lauren,  Can we get something to eat?" she asked. I nodded "Sure.  What would you like?" "Pizza!" she said almost immediately.  I smiled at her excitement.  "Okay" I said

We went to the food court and ordered pizza. Camila finished her's super quick. "Were you that hungry? " I asked her. "Kind of. I just really like pizza." I chuckled "You're so cute" she blushed.  It was so darn adorable! I swear I just want to kiss her.

We continued on our day. I enjoyed every moment with her. After all these years I sometimes really couldn't believe she was with me. Much less can I believe that I like her. Ever since that day in the lunch room. 

"Lo, whacha think?" She said snapping me out of my thoughts. She had a black bow in her hair. It made her look even cutter.  I smiled "It looks great Camz!" "You really think so?" she asked unsure. "Yes, you know what would look great on you too?"  I asked walking over to a black and white snapback. She had a face of confusion.

I grabbed it off the shelf and placed it on her. "Perfect" I said.  And in reality it was. She smiled as she looked at her self in the mirror.  "I really like it, but I only have money for the bow and I really like that too." she said looking at both items in her hand. "I can pay for one if you'd like." I said she looked up "You don't have to Lo." "But I want to. Only with on condition though." She thought for a second.  "What is that?" I held up 3 beanies "You help me choose" She smiled and looked at the three. "I think the white one...but I also like the navy blue." I put the black one back. "Well in that case lets take both. Come on." we payed for our items and headed home.

We walked to her door. "Want to come in? " she asked. I nodded "Only for a bit."  We walked in and I sat on the couch. Her mom walked in. I stood up to give her a hug. "Hi Lauren.  How are you?" she asked. "I'm great. And you?" she sat down and sighed. "I've seen better days" she confessed.  "I'm sorry, but I hope an invitation for dinner tomorrow will help maybe?" She smiled "My mom told me to ask." I explained. "We would love to Lauren."  I smiled "Great I can't wait. I have to get going now.  My mom is waiting for me." "Alright Lauren take care" I gave her another hug.

Camila walked me to my car. "Lauren, I had a great time today. Thank you so much." A smile spreaded across my face. "Anytime Camz. I love being with you." she slightly blushed.

I had an urge to kiss her. But instead I wrapped my arms around her. She instantly did the same. Before she pulled away she placed a soft kiss on my cheek. "Goodnight Lauren. " she said before going inside.

My hand touched the place her lips had touched.  And a face eating smile took over my face.
