Chapter 14

*Lauren's POV*

Days passed since Camila's incident. Just the thought of her leaving was terrifying. I really don't know what I would of done without her. Maybe we haven't been together long but in the short amount of time we have been she has become something special.

As everyday went by I developed stronger feelings. Sometimes it scared me. Just looking at her made my heart want to jump out. Just a touch made my stomache flip. Just the smallest thing made me think of her.

I'm still confused on whether she feels the same or not. She yet hasn't told me what she was going to say that one day. And I'm dying to know what it is. I am secretly hopping thats it's her admitting her feelings towards me because lately she has been acting like she likes me. Which gives me hope.

I was on my way to pick up Camila. Ally had invited us over since her parents were out of town.

I reached her house and knocked on the door. I heard footsteps coming and my heart beat accelerated. "Hi." Camila answered with a grin. My eyes automatically looked at her from head to toe. I heard her chuckle "Are we leaving or are u going to look at me all evening?" My cheeks turned red. "Uh, um let's go" I said feeling embarrassed. She chuckled again and we made our way to our destination.

Dinah and Normani were already there when we got there. I opened the door and walked in followed by Camila. "You could knock you know" Ally said. I shrugged. "You never do" I replied. "What took you so long?" Dinah said with a smirk. "We are only 5 minutes late." I said rolling my eyes. "Anything can happen in five minutes" I rolled my eyes and looked at Camila. Her cheeks were slightly red. I smiled at the sight. Ah, see too cute.

"Dinah shut up and make the popcorn" Normani said slapping her arm. Dinah made a face but got up to do what was told. "So what are we gonna do?" Camila asked taking a seat next to me on the couch. I smiled.  "Well I thinking a scary movie?" Camila scrunched her nose. I don't think I've seen anything that adorable. "I really don't like those types of movies but it's fine" She told Ally. "We can watch something else if you-" "No no it's ok really I'll probably fall asleep during anyway." Camila interrupted. "Sure?" Ally aked. She nodded.

"Ok. Dinah! Hurry up we are starting the movie" Ally yelled. "I don't know how to work this!!" She yelled back "I'll go help." Normani said rolling her eyes. Ally shook her head and put in the movie.

Dinah and Normani finally came with the popcorn and drinks. We all made ourself comfortable and started to watch the movie. At a point I felt Camila scoot closer to me. I felt a smile form on my face. There was a scean where Camila unexpected burried her face in me. I jumped at the sudden movement.She quickly moved. "Sorry" she whispered a hint of embarrassment in her voice. I reached for her hand and pulled her close. "I don't mind" I said. She smiled and cuddled closer. I sighed and rested my head on hers.

Eventually she fell asleep like she said. She was laying on my lap. I stroked her hair. My attention now on her and not on the screen. She looked so flawless. Her perfectly shaped nose and her pink lips. I wanted to reach down and kiss them. I felt Dinah nudge me. I looked at her and she winked at me. I rolled my eyes at her and looked back at the t.v. But my attention was still on the perfect human being on my lap.

The movie ended and we talked for a bit, Camila still being asleep. Finally Normani decided to go home and Ally went to kitchen. Dinah went to the restroom. I was left with a sleeping Camila. I admired how peaceful she looked. I tried waking her up but it was useless. So I started stroking her hair again.

"You guys look perfect like that you know" Dinah said standing at the doorway. "How long have you been standing there?" I asked a bit startled. "A while,you know I wasn't kidding when I said you look perfect there?" I looked at Camila "You think? Sometimes I don't take you seriously"

Dinah took a seat. "You know I tease you because you look so happy when you are around ber and that's my way to just encourage you to make a move." She explained. "Well. ." I started. "You know Lauren  I'm going to be serious for a bit, I don't think I've seen you as happy as you are when you are with Camila.And it's the same with her. You guys seem to complete eachother. Like she us your light and you are hers. When I say you two are perfect together I mean it wholeheartedly. And I really do hope you two talk it out. I'm sure she feels the same way and so I can tease you some more." She looked at the time "Well I have to go. I love you but not as much as you love Camila" She winked at me and went to look for Ally.

I thought about what she had said and promised to talk to her soon. I carried Camila bridal sytle said bye to Ally and made my way to drop Camila off. On the way I noticed Camila was awake but looking put the window. Once we reached her house she opened the door before getting out she said "Dinah is right. You are my light and I do feel the same" and closed the door. Before she went in her house she turned around and smiled at me.
