Chapter 19

*Lauren's POV*

"Hey Camz?" She looked up at me. "What are you doing tomorrow?" She thought for a bit. "Tomorrow? Nothing. Staying home all day" Perfect. "Can I take you somewhere?" She smiled "Anywhere." I smiled and poked her nose. "You are too cute" "Not possible." She argued. "Very much possible" I replied she shook her head. "Yes." "No." She argued. "Yes you are now shut up." I tickled her sides.

She started to laugh. "Oh my God Lauren!!" She said. Her laughter was music to my ears. "Stoooop!" She yelled. I chuckled "I love it when you laugh. It brightens my day." She looked at me. "Yeah? Well I like it when you look at me like that. It makes my heart flutter." I felt my face turn slightly red.

We sat there in silence. "Soon are we gonna watch a movie or what?" "The Notebook!" She yelled getting up to find it. I sighed to myself. Perfect. She is perfect.

The next morning I woke up early. I Laid in bed for a long while thinking. I looked at the time and realized it was getting late.

I took a quick shower and went downstairs. "Good morning Mami hi papi." I greeted my parents. "Hi honey. How are you?" My mom replied. I smiled "Great honestly." My dad looked up from his newspaper "Someone woke up happy" I smiled. "I'm going to be gone for a while. Is that alright?"

"Sure. Don't be gone soate though" my dad said. "I won't. Where is Taylor?" I asked taking some pancakes. "Still sleeping" mom replied. I nodded and sat down to eat.

I walked up to Camila's front door and knocked. I waited quietly. The door opened and a small girl came out. "Hi Sofi." I said bending down she smiled. "My sister is happy today" she said. I smiled widely. "That's a good thing right?" I asked the small girl. She nodded fast. "Can you keep her like that. I don't like it when she cries." My heart sank to know that the little girl heard her sisters cries. "I'll do whatever I can princess" I said poking her nose. She giggled. "Hi." Camila said walked up behind her sister. I stood up to admire her.   

She had on a pair of denim shorts with a 'stay weird' shirt. The snapback I bought her a while ago placed on her head. I smiled at her. "Hi. Um you ready?" I asked. She nodded. "Bye mami!" She yelled she crouched down y her sister "I'll see you later" she bumped foreheads. "Bye kaki" she said. Camila placed a kiss on her nose. The way Camila treated her sister warmed my heart.

She stood up and looked at me. I smiled. She looked away "Let's go" I opened the door for her. I got in and started the car. "The way you treat Sofi warms my heart." I told her. "I love her so much" she said. "I know. You are a good sister to her, you know?"

She looked to the window. "I wish I was" she said softly. "Camz. You are. You know what she said to me before we left?" She looked at me. "She said you were happy today and asked me to keep you that way. She loves you so much Camz. Even if you keep things from her. Its only to protect her right? She will love you no matter what. Trust me Camz."

"You always know how to make me feel better Lauren. One of the many reasons why I love you" I smiled. "It's because I love you way more" she smiled. We stayed silent for a while. "So where exactly are we going?" I parked my car "Patients cutie" I got out and to her side to open her door. "My lady. Let's go" she laughed. "Are you kidnapping me?" I laughed. "Yes Camz." She laughed. I reached for her hand she looked over to me. Her face was slightly red. "Stop being cute." "Can't help it."

We walked through the parking lot of the beach it was quiet crowded. "The beach? Lauren I didn't bring-"  "sh. Its fine. I didn't either." We walked along the sand. "Okay. I'm getting scared." I chucked. "Would you calm down and trust me?" Every step the peoples noise became quiet.

We came up to a small hill. "Okay. Over this hill and through a small path and we will be there." I told her so she could calm down a bit. "Are you going to murder me? Is that why its so far away?" I rolled my eyes. "Jesus Camz. Just calm down and trust me." "Okay okay. Sorry."

We reached the path and came to the place I was aiming for. It was an abandoned place off the beach. No one ever came here because the hill blocked it. There were palm trees in two rows and a few big rocks. The breeze was blowing. The waves were hitting the rocks. "Are you ready for your murder?" I asked her. She laughed "It's beautiful." She said looking around. "You think? Me and the girls found this place."

She walked up to the water and took off her shoes. "It feels so good. Join me Lo!" I took off my shoes as well and joined her. The cold water felt so good in this weather. I wasn't paying attention when Camila jumped on my back causing both of us to fall in. She laughed. She stood up and tried to run but I caught up and lifted her up. "You got me good." I whispered in her ear. "I hope I got you as good as you got me." She replied.

I put her down and took her hands. "Camila." I started. I looked up at her eyes. The chocolate brown orbs. "I remember being a little girl and enjoying all the times you came over to play. I remember our silly games. I remember once when I broke my arm in softball and I was really sad you came over and made me laugh. I'll forget the day you came over crying telling me you were leaving. I don't think anyone made happy as you did after you left." She had a few tears building in her eyes. "But as long as I live I will remember when I first saw you again. I'll never forget the smile you gave me. Camz you make me so happy. You being here makes me happy." I stayed quiet of a bit. Nervous at the next part. "I want to make you as happy as you have made me. Or I hope to make you as happy. But Camz, will you be my girlfriend ?"

I bit my lip. She looked down at our hands she slowly looked up. "I love you Lauren.." She looked away. "But, you don't have to hope to make me happy because you always do." She looked back into my eyes "Yes. Lauren. I would be honored."

I let out a breath. And picked her up off her feet again. She crashed her lips in mine. She asked for entrance and I gladly allowed.

I heard clapping and we pulled away to see no other than Dinah with Normani. "That was the cutest thing I have ever saw!" Normani yelled. "Party time has arrived!!" Dinah yelled running to us. I laughed. "Hi Dinah" she smiled at me. "Proud of you Lauren." She gave me a hug.

Ally arrived and Dinah ran to her to give her news. Camila slipped her hand in mine. "I love you Lauren" I smiled bigger than ever. "I love you too princess"
