I woke up to see the goddess once more "hello Lucien," she said. I looked at her and said, "so we meet again." She nodded and gave me some tea, which I took a sip of "what did you want to talk about Lucien?" She asked. I set my cup down and I asked, "what am I doing? You gave me this power to help you but I've just been acting like some comic book or cartoon superhero with episodic adventures. Why haven't you given me any orders to aid in the fight against the vile god?"
She took a sip of tea herself and said, "you are not ready to fight the vile god, and there is another enemy that stands in your way, that you must defeat first." I raised an eyebrow and asked "who?" She took another sip and said, "I have only talked to him once and he described himself as 'the opposite to you, your worst nightmare."
"The opposite to me..." I whispered, pondering what that could mean. Eventually, I thought of what it meant "he must have the power of destruction," I said. The goddes thought for a second and responded, "that would make sense, he did receive his powers from shad." I took a sip of tea and asked, "who is shad?" She stood up and said, "it is- was the vile god's name."
I stood up too and asked, "what do you mean, was?" She turned to me and said, "it is time I let you know a little more about me and the divine powers. You see, there were originally 8 gods and goddesses in existence, and now there are six. the rest are spirits, demigods, satyrs, etc. We all had our own names before we were visited by the magi."
I cut her off and asked, "the magi? What is the magi?" She used her magic to silence me and said, "do not interrupt me." She continued and said, "the magi is what Christians and jews would refer to as 'God' he created the forces of magic in this universe, including the other gods."
She turned to a table and looked at a picture and said, "see, we did not know we were divine at that point, as we lived on earth. We simply believed ourselves to be gifted with strong magic, for at that point, magic was extremely prevelent in all humans. When we were visited by the magi, he gave us relics that enhanced our already great power, he gave us a realm, and told us that we were gods. Despite what we had been given, shad still wanted more. Shad... he wanted to become the magi, to have absolute power, so he took his relic and tried to kill us, to take our power. His relic was taken but he kept the power of the 2 gods he killed. He was branded for his evil acts and casted out the the underworld, or as you human's call it, hell."
"And that is why he is called the vile god?" I asked. The goddess turned and nodded saying, "precisely." I then asked, "so what's your real name? If the vile god had a real name than so did you right?" She nodded and said "my name is Alurea, but dont use it informally, call me mistress alurea if you ever wish to refer to me by name." I nodded and responded, "will do, mistress alurea. Now I want to know what my next course of action should be." She shook her head and said "there is nothing I wish of you to do, just keep fighting, to save the people you care about, and get stronger. One day you will be ready to take the offense"
I nodded once more, and everything faded to light. I woke up in my dark room and sat up, hearing a knock at my door. I got up to see who it was. I opened the door to see amelia, blushing as she was being drenched by the rain. she seemed nervous, and she wasn't saying anything. I couldn't think of much to say to her so I simply thought 'what do I do?"

A/n hey guys, hope you enjoyed the chapter. I tried making it longer but I was having a bit of writers block so I couldn't think of much more to write despite how long I tried. I promise I'll try to make it longer next time
