Jeronica AU (season 3)

Part 1

Veronica visiting Archie
"Believe me Ronnie I didn't do it," Archie says, "It was Andre."

"You ran after the guy, Cassidy was it? That's the only evidence they have against you, my parents have cameras all around the Lodge Lodge and it clearly shows you running into the woods."

An officer enters, "ma'am I'm going to ask you to leave, you've exceeded your visit."

"I will be back Arch, I know you didn't do it," Ronnie says.

She walks out and sees Jughead leaning against his bike.

"Where is Betty?"

"She had to babysit and asked me to come, how'd it go?"

"It's a set up obviously."

"Yeah thanks to your dad, get on,"

Veronica hops on the bike and grips on jughead's jacket as they take off.

Arriving at Veronica's house, Jughead slows the bike.

"What are we gonna do about Archie?" He asks lowly.

"I may have an idea, but I'll need yours and Betty's help."

"What is it?"

"My Dad keeps all of the deaths that occur because of him in a file I over heard him talking about it with my mom, if we can find it we can clear Archie's name."

Jughead scoffs, "of-course he does."

"They are leaving for New York tomorrow and they will be gone for a week," Veronica says ignoring his comment.

"We will help."

Jughead speeds off and Veronica enters her house.

Next day:
"Mija, call if you need anything," Hiram Lodge says as they get ready to leave.

"Also, we left you a credit card for food and other needs," his wife adds.

"You do realize you're leaving for a week right?" Ronnie jokes. Her parents suspecting her is the last thing she needs.

Her parents get in the car and drive off. As soon as the car is out of her sight she calls Betty.

"We're clear, but wait 20 minutes just Incase"

"Okay, and don't forget to turn off the cameras," Betty replies.

Veronica runs to her dads computers and does just that.

"Done"

"It's been hours Ronnie, and Nothing," Betty says.

"We have only gotten through one filing cabinet, Betts, and it's only been 10 minutes," Jughead says.

"Let's take a break," Betty says.

"You guys can, but my boyfriend is in jail and it's because of my dad, I will find that file," Ronnie says.

Betty and jughead look at each other guiltily and continue looking.

A couple hours later.....
"I think I found something!" Jughead screamed from the other room.

Both Betty and Veronica ran to him and saw him standing in-front of a hidden room behind a bookshelf Veronica's parents have had for years.

"What is that room?" Betty asked.

"I don't know..."

"I found it while looking for a file on the shelves, let's check it out."

Just then Betty's phone rang, it was her mom.

"Betty get home you're Dad escaped from his cell"
