Part 5

"Okay mom that's all the copies I made at school."

"Betty give me half of them, we are going to the town meeting."

"Mom you can't just barge in there."

"Watch me."

At the town hall...
The sheriff is engaged in conversation with Penelope Blossom when they both turn and see Alice strut in.

"Attention everyone, your so called sheriff has not been fulfilling his duty as sheriff."

The crowd starts to whisper and gather around her.

"There was not only one blackhood, in fact there were 2. Actually who knows there might be 10."

She starts to pass out her blue and gold newspaper. The crowd shocked doesn't move an inch so she continues.

"I saw him myself, a hooded figure right outside my house. My husband is still in his cell. We cannot let our guards down."

Everyone agreed with her and started to worry once again.

At the sheriffs office...
"So genius, how do we get in?" Jughead asks sarcastically.

"Haven't you done this before?" Veronica asks.

"Betty always unlocked the doors with her Bobby pins and Nancy drew knowledge."

"Now what?"

"That windows open," jughead says pointing, "come I'll give you a boost."

"No way, I'm wearing a dress," V says while pointing to her black overall dress.

"I won't look, hurry you're wasting time."

True to his words Jughead lifted her through the window with his eyes shut the entire time. Veronica unlocks the door for him, pulls him in and locks the door again.

"I'm going to the filing cabinet and you go to the desk," Jughead says.

After only a little while they hear people outside the door and keys rattling. Thinking quickly both of them get into the small closet. Far too close to one another for their liking.

"You said it would be another hour," Jughead whisper yelled.

"Uh yeah! An hour ago."

They both got quiet when they heard the door open. They heard 2 voices speak back and forth.

"Hiram said it was in the outhouse near the Lodge lodge," the first voice said.

"Isn't it too obvious?" The second voice replied.

"Nobody would think to check there."

"We have to get back to the site of the prison Hiram is building in the south side, they need your signatures as sheriff."

They figured out that voice 1 was the new sheriff and waited till they left again to come out.

"What do you think they were talking about?" Veronica said.

"No idea but we definitely have to see," Jughead said.

They pair continued to look for the file on Archie's case and eventually found it.

"Jughead, it's right here."

"Let me see," Jughead says peering over her shoulder.

The file stated that the bullets found in the victim were 10mm bullets.

"That doesn't narrow it down at all," Jughead says, "Those bullets go in many different types of guns and seeing your dad's collection, he probably has all of them."

"Maybe what ever is in the outhouse near the lodge lodge is related to this case."

"Yeah, we can go tomorrow, it's a couple hours away, and that way Betty can go," Jughead says, "wait, I don't have room on my bike for both of you."

"Can you drive? Like a car?" Veronica asked.

"No."

"I'll get a driver, Smithers, he is more loyal to me than my dad after he fired him."

Both of them head back to the Lodge house and find a flier in the door handle. Veronica pulls it out and reads aloud.

"It's from the blue and gold. Jughead check it out. It says there is another Black hood. Mrs.Cooper saw him herself."

"What? Is that what B was doing?"
