"I'm shocked they let us come in together," Jughead said.

"I'm charming, that's why," Veronica replied.

Archie came in with his handcuffs still on and accompanied by guards.

"Archie, hey..." Veronica said.

"Veronica, where have you been the last couple days?" Archie asked.

"We went to the lodge lodge and-," Veronica replied before she got cut off.

"You guys went on a vacation?"

"What no, we had a lead. It was a dead end but we thought it may be something we can use to prove you innocent," Jughead replied.

"And what nothing?" Archie asked.

Jughead and Veronica fell silent. No matter how hard they tried, all of their leads led to nothing.

"We have nothing. That's why you need to give us something. Any information. On the gun or anything," Jughead said.

"Well the gun was a smaller one, it was silver and Black I think..." Archie starts.

"That narrows it down a little bit, but we need more than that."

"Or maybe that's enough information..." Veronica said.

"Huh?" Jughead asked.

Veronica pulled out her phone and showed jughead.

"There were only 6 guns with silver on them," she pointed out.

"Oh my god, and half of them are large," Jughead adds.

"Sorry boo, we have to cut this visit short, kisses," Veronica says getting up and walking out.

Jughead and Veronica get on his bike and go to Veronica's house. The room they found was in the library, next to her dad's office, behind a bookshelf but both her parents were home.

"Damn, they're home," Veronica says.

"Now what?"

"Wait I have a plan, just trust me."

Jughead and Veronica walk into the house.

"Ronnie, why is Jughead Jones here?" Her mother asks her.

"We have to finish up a project we got over break. We are kind of cramming everything on the last day," she replied.

"Okay you couldn't have done it at a library?" She asks.

"No mom, we will just use our library. Also we are locking the door, we don't need distractions."

Jughead and Veronica walk into the library and locked the door. Jughead finds the the file he pulled to open the room and it creaks loudly.

"Shit,shit Jughead softly!" Veronica whisper yelled.

"Sorry."

They slipped in and got straight to work.

"Don't touch anything directly," Jughead warned while passing her a handkerchief.

There were 3 guns that were small and silver/black. Jughead opened each one and checked the bullets in each.

"This glock is the only one that has 10mm bullets," Jughead said.

"Okay put it back, we will bring Sheriff Keller by whenever my parents aren't home."

Jughead and Veronica slip back into the room and successfully shut the hidden room.

"Your mom thinks we are working together, we can't just leave."

"We have to wait it out a little I guess."

"I'm bored," Veronica said after 5 minutes.

"They'll suspect us if we leave now."

"Let's just go," V whined.

"Sit down Veronica."

"There's nothing to do here...what are you doing?"

"I'm playing games on my phone."

"Talk to me, I'm bored."

"Use your phone."

"It's on 2%"

"I'm playing a game."

Veronica grabbed his phone and turned it off.

"Now you're not playing a game," Veronica says tossing his phone on the couch next to him.

"What? What is it that you want to talk about?" He asks.

"Hmm, let's talk about Betty."

"What is there to talk about?"

"Well she is my best friend and your girlfriend, so tell me what're your intentions with her?"

"It's a little too late to have this conversation, don't you think?"

"Jughead answer the question."

"I don't know, maybe this will last or maybe it won't."

"Why do you say that?"

"If I tell you, you might get mad."

"I won't. Tell me."

"I just feel like once Archie changes his mind, she'll go back to him..."

Veronica felt the same exact way, but she hated thinking about it.

"What makes you think he'll change his mind?"

"I don't mean to offend you, but I feel like he already has, he doesn't even know it yet."

Veronica didn't reply and she realized she didn't want to have this conversation anymore because she knew he was right.

"Let's go," Veronica said after a couple minutes.

"Huh?"

"We'll say we are going to the library."

"Uh okay."
