"Do you think we should wake her?" I heard a faint whisper. "Of course not, Lou, I cant imagine how much pain she'll be in when she wakes up." I think that was Liam and he was absolutely right.
There was a horrible sensation in my head much like a woodpecker pecking at a tree, my leg still hopelessly throbbing. "She looks so cute when she's asleep." I heard Niall say and there were hums of agreement. I couldn't help but smile at this. "Ey, the little buger's awake!" Zayn laughed, tickling me a bit.
Oops, I was supposed to pretend to be sleeping...
With that in mind I didn't budge and continued to 'snooze'. "Give it up Dee, we know you're awake." Liam pinched my cheeks like I was a 9 year old. "Oh no, guys. Dee's clearly sleeping. So we'll just eat her breakfast in bed for her." I could almost hear Louis smirking.
Ugh, they knew my weakness. Food.
"No, I'm awake." I groaned, sleepily waving a hand in the air. I heard them laugh, and the tasty smell of bacon teased the air around me. I propped myself up on my bed, giving the boys who were seated around me a sleepy grin as a plate way too full of food came closer to me. "Morning, beautiful." Harry winked, kissing my cheek.
Well, that was new. None of the boys ever did that before.
I hid my surprise, brushing it off because well it's Harry, its kinda like him to do something like that. "Morning guys!" I said staring at the plate before me. "Um, don't you think this is a bit much food?" I asked almost baffled by the stack of pancakes, strips of bacon and scrambled eggs. "I told you it's gonna be too much, Niall!" Zayn scolded playfully. "And don't I need to brush my teeth first?" I raised an eyebrow at them.
"Lads, we didn't think this through..." Liam shook his head. I laughed getting out of bed and walking towards the bathroom. "Dee?" Lou called making me turn. "It was only a pleasure to put in all this effort to make you the perfect breakfast in bed, only for you to ruin it, love." He grinned sarcastically. "I never said thank you, Hun." I winked as the boys fake-gasped.
After brushing my teeth, making my hair look somewhat normal-ish, and a good change of clothes, I left the bathroom to find the boys still sitting by my bed. "Thank you so much, guys." I said pouting and hugging each one of them. "It's a pleasure, love. We thought that you needed something like this after...you know." Liam said, sorta uncomfortably.
I nodded, "And as much as I appreciate all of this, I'm really not hungry." "Why? Are you feeling ill?" Harry asked, concerned. Again, I found myself feeling unsettled with the fact that he wasn't his usually bubbly self. "No, no. I'm fine, just not hungry. Have you guys eaten?" I felt bad because they worried about me and the least I could do was make sure they were fine.
"Course we have!" Niall looked at me as though I were mad for assuming they haven't eaten. "So you're not gonna eat this?" He asked sheepishly, lifting up my plate. "No, Niall and yes you may have it!" I laughed already knowing what was on his mind. "I love you, Dee!" He shouted, putting the plate down and pulling me into a tight Horan Hug! "I love you too, Niall." I giggled hugging him back. "Niall, just sit down and eat your food!" Harry rolled his eyes playfully.
The other boys may have not noticed the slight hostility in voice but I most definitely did.
"So Dee, since we can't really do much today." Zayn said pulling back to curtain in front of the glass door, revealing the view of a greyish sky and light rain. "Aw, what happened to the weather??" I pouted. "Well, I guess nothing wants to be happy when you're not happy, not even the weather." Harry smiled sweetly. "And what's with your sudden cheesiness??" I slapped his arm playfully as smiled, looking down revealing his beautiful smile. "Um anyway as Zayn was saying. We can't do much, so we thought we'd just take you to the game room." Liam smiled. "But isn't it cold out?" I asked thinking of the gloomy cold back home.
