3rd pov Lucy

Lucy brushed her hair and got dressed, then head down stairs for what is easily one of the most awkward situations ever.

"Hey Love, how you feeling?"

"The meds finally kicked in, so better now."

"That's good, now for the confusing part, this is my family -"

"Hey Lockwood, I've been doing some research about this source, and it has an inscription on it saying - oh well, I guess you know what it said."

"Wait, they're alive because he touched the source?"

"Yeah, pretty much."

"But I touched it too. Do I need to worry about my dad coming here or back in Cheviot Hills?"

"Not sure, you should probably call your sisters just to be sure."

"Yeah, I'll be back in a few minutes. This could end up bad." She leaves the room and calls her old home.

"Hello?"

"Hey Mary, it's Lucy."

"Hey baby sis, what's up?"

"So I touched a source that had some sort of spell or something on it, and now dad should be coming back to life soon, we don't know if he'll show up here or there."

"What?!?! Lucy, this doesn't make any sense. How could that even be possible!?!?"

"I'm not sure how it's possible, but it actually does work, Lockwood's parents and sister are here and alive, even though they died years ago."

"Okay I'll keep an eye out, it'll probably be better if he shows up there, it sounds like you have people to beat him unconscious, and call the cops when he goes to hurt you."

"Hey Luce- oh, sorry, didn't know you were on the phone."

"You're fine, Hol- sorry Mary slight distraction on this side, but I get how you're thinking, but what I'm not sure about is how they would arrest him.  He's been legally dead for like 12 years, and now he's just going to show up alive and probably just as abusive as before." At this, she got a weird look from Holly.

"Yeah, that'll be interesting, but again, it'll probably be better if he shows up there."

"You say that like I'm choosing where he shows, this was more of a 'hey our abusive dead dad might show up there alive, keep your eyes out' kind of call."

"Okay, well, I'll watch out and warn our mum and sisters."

"Thanks, I gotta go, I'll call you if he shows up here. "

"Okay, bye, baby sis."

"Talk to you later." She hung up the phone. "So what's up, Hol?"

"I was just going to ask you if you knew what was going on."

"Oh then, yes, but it's hard to explain right now. It would just be easier for you to just see for yourself."

"What was that call about."

"Me warning my family that our dad might show up there, or he could come here."

"I thought your dad was dead."

"Exactly. So are the people in the living room."

"Who's in there?"

"Lockwood's parents and sister."

"Wait, I'm confused."

"We all are right now, and we are probably missing the explanation, so let's go try to catch it." Lucy says, heading to the living room.

"All sorted out?" Mr. Lockwood asked.

"Not 100% sure... she said if he shows up there, she would call, though."

"That's good," Mrs. Lockwood said.

"Although it'll probably be better if he shows up here,"

"Why?"

"More people to beat the snot out of after he started being abusive."

"Oh, sweaty... why do you think he'd do that?" Mrs. Lockwood asked.

"That's how he was before the accident. He'd get drunk and beat us."

"Oh, I'm so sorry," She said, getting up and hugging me.

"It's fine. He died when I was 5, so I didn't have many years of it, unlike some of my other sisters. We were better off emotionally without him." I said once she let go.

"Your poor mother must have had so much to do, raising multiple kids on her own, I know I had a hard time taking care of Tony for those 6 years." Jessica said.

"Well, my oldest sisters practically raised me, not my mother."

"Oh, how many sisters do you have?"

"I'm the youngest of 7 girls."

"Wow, so you grew up completely with women."

"Not really, I've been an aunt since I was 8, so I had my nephews and brothers-in-law, plus the younger one's boyfriends."

"Oh, okay. So Anthony, who took care of you when Jess died?" Mr. Lockwood asked his son.
"An odd mix of Uncle John and Aunt Jen and Neigel Sykes."

"Ol' Gravedigger, eh?"

"Yeah, he mostly taught me how to be an agent, though."

"Okay, good, he's a good man, but not who I would want raising you." Mrs. Lockwood said, "So how did you start up this little company."

In the middle of the story, we hear an angry knocking on the door. Lucy gulps, feeling her heart beat rise. "Okay, George, you get. If it is Lucy's dad, he'll have a harder time pushing you out of the way."

"Wow, thanks, Lockwood." George got up and went to the door as Lockwood finished explaining the plan.

"Okay, so if it is him and he does get hostile, we take him down, and Holly, you call the cops. If needed, mum, you call the cops while Holly takes care of Luce."

"Get outta my way, fat ass!" Erupts from the front hall. Lucy just sighed.

"Yep, that's my dad."

"Okay, Luce, I know you don't want to do this, but I need you to go approach him." She give him a doubtful look, but go regardless. The second she sees him, she can see the anger in his eyes.
