Maya was tackled by a large black wolf who had a scar across his forehead, obviously having been in battle. Josh stares at the scene as it unfolds, un able to move from his spot , speechless.

The large black male wolf growls loudly snapping at Maya as she soon recovers from shock and starts dodging blows from the males legs and mouth. She let's out a ferocious growl and pushes the male off her growling bending in a fighting stance.

Josh shakes his head and growls lowly jumping into action to protect his mate and tackles the male making him fall over as Josh pins the older male down. Suddenly the older male stops growling and looks at Josh in confusion as Josh stays growling not letting the male get up.

Josh's POV

I can't believe it's him, after all this time he has the guys to show up, after all the pain he has put the pack through he shows up and attacks MY MATE. "What are you doing here" he just gives my a wolfy smile "Why I've come home son, I could ask why you stopped me from killing that rogue when she is so close to the territory boarder" he now isn't looking too happy. "Well just so you know that is MY MATE" I growl, pure anger and rage flowing through me from my wolf, he's livid that our father would attack our mate. "Your mate?! No, no rogue is mate of my son" he states firmly. "She is my mate, and you have no control over me, your reign of being Alpha ended when you left this pack" he just laughs "I didn't leave, I went to protect and you stole the pack, making them think I would do such a thing" I growl "I know I'm not your real father, but you were left on my door step saying that you were to be my son, I don't take orders from you and never will" he growls throwing me off "I will be back in a few days, be expecting it" he runs off and I suddenly reliaze I forgot to look for Maya, I quickly turn around to see she's not there, and her scent has faded, she must have made a run for it

Mayas POV

I ran as fast as I could away from that, I'm not the one to run but I'm not about to get into a huge fight with my mates father. That would be awkward.

Yes we wouldn't want to upset mate before we have pups with him

Shut it before I block you out for the rest of the day

I keep running until I'm far enough that my mates scent is not as strong as it has been. I look around and find a hole, I look inside to see it is an abandoned fox hole and so I get down and get in for extra protection.

I had no idea this would happen, but who knows what could come put of this.............
