The Alpha and the Perfect Fang

Josh's POV

Maya was busy changing inside her cave and no matter how much I wanted to go inside with her I had to stay guard and of course don't want to get in trouble for watching her change. I'm standing guard right in front of the cave waiting for her to come out. I got a bit bored so I shifted to my human form and looked around whistling while keeping an eye on the cave entrance. Soon enough my beautiful future Luna walked out from the cave dressed. I walked over to her wrapping my arms around her waist pulling her to me as I laid my head in the crook of her neck taking in her scent. I felt her shiver against my chest and I smirked knowing the effect I have on her is very powerful.

She wrapped her small arms around my neck looking at me when I pulled my head away from her neck. She smiled at me and all I wanted to do in that moment was kiss those perfect lips of hers. I wanted to take her back to the pack, I wanted to name her Luna over the pack, I wanted her to rule by my side when I take over the moon, but all I can do for now is hope that she will accept that. I don't know if she likes pack life and I have no idea what pack she came from. Although I can feel she has come from a high pack role though I cannot tell just what role it was. There's a lot of things I don't know about my mate that I would like to know. I want to take her out on a date, maybe tonight, I'm sure she would like to know some things about me as well.

I smiled down at her and kissed her cheek softly before hooking my hand in hers starting to walk. "Where are we going?" "Pack lands, you don't have to stay I just want to show you what it's like there" "I'm not too sure about that" "Don't worry my mate, everyone will love you and if they don't respect you then they will have to deal with me" "Okay, but only for a hour or two" I smiled in victory looking at her before kissing her cheek happily. She would get to see my pack and see how close my pack is. I walked with her by my side smiling like a love sick teenage boy, but then again I was. I have my mate who accepted me, what more do I need? I could rule over a pile of dirt and still I would be proud to call Maya the Luna. There's nothing in this world or the next that I won't do for her. She is now my greatest strength but also my greatest weakness. 

I felt  her tense a bit as we walked onto pack land. No doubt she hasn't been on pack land in quite a while, at least a powerful pack. I smiled and squeezed her hand to let her know that everything was going to be alright and I was right here with her to protect her. She relaxed and looked around as a few patrol wolves followed us, not because she was a rogue but because for my safety. She turned her head a bit to look at them but they showed no actions of trying to attack her. Good, they know she is important and powerful, they know she has a role in this pack already. She smiled a bit and turned to look in front of her again while I looked around at my pack. 

We soon reached the pack house and I lead her inside. Of course I opened the door for her, I'm gentlemen after all. She smiled at me and she walked inside glancing around as different people talked and walked around. Some children ran past laughing and she smiled at them. Someday those will be our kids, we will have kids of our own to follow in our footsteps and run the pack. Though that's going to be quite a while from now. Right now I need to convince Maya to move in with me. All I can do for now is hope, but I know my hope will do something. I know, soon enough, that she will move in with me, she will become my Luna, and someday, one day, become the mother of my pups.
