Maya's POV

I walked next to Josh as we entered his pack territory. I turned to look at some of his patrol wolves that had seen us come in and started to follow us, obviously because they want to keep their Alpha safe, I mean that is their job. They followed us all the way to the pack house before they went back to their posts. As Josh and I walked into the pack house two werewolf pups ran past playing tag. I smiled watching them chase each other, someday I hoped to have pups of my own. I looked up at Josh to see him also watching the pups but looking like he was deep in thought. I wonder if he had the same thoughts about having pups someday like me.

I then noticed that many heads had turned to look at us since we arrived in the pack house. Josh must have noticed and he turned his head to look at his pack. They all looked from him to me then back to him curious. I stayed close to Josh not knowing if the pack would do anything, I smelt heavily of rogue and there's no doubt they wanted to know why their Alpha brought me into the safety of their pack grounds. I looked up at him to see his eyes were clouded over, he must be mind linking his pack. I must have been right because not even five seconds later he smiled looking at me and his pack went back to whatever they had been doing before we walked in. "Shall I give you a tour of the pack house babygirl?"

I smiled weakly from the pet name and nodded looking around as he hooked his arm around my waist keeping me next to him. He began to walk pointing out different rooms and what was down different hall ways. I smiled enjoying myself, I think I want to stay here, stay living in this pack house and stay with this pack. I liked it here, the wolves didn't act upon me being a rogue but looked to their Alpha for an explanation of why I was here. I don't know what he said to them but whatever it was it seemed to satisfy their curiosity. "So what are the different areas of your pack territory?" I asked and saw Josh smile widely, obviously proud to now brag to his mate about his pack. "Well, there is the pack house, four large training  fields and two small, there's a lake for water/wet training, two large neighborhoods as well as three medium ones all surrounding the pack house, five hidden bunkers scattered in random areas of the territory as well as another much larger one below the pack house that is extremely hard to get to if you're not part of the pack." he bragged and I smiled feeling his pride for his pack radiate off of him.

I smiled at him walking along with him "Would you like to see the training grounds?" he asked looking down at me "Yes I would love to" I replied. He smiled and kept me close to him as he led me out of the pack house heading towards one of his training grounds. I looked around as some werewolves talked, some played games, some were walking with their mates, and some were reading under trees. Josh's pack looked to be calm and active constantly but then again I've only been here for maybe a hour. He stopped in front of a painted line of red. "Here's our main training field, the red painted lines around it are to warn off the pups from going into active training so they don't get hurt" he stated looking out across the field at his wolves in training. There was hand on combat, mental combat, brawls, weapon combat, fitness training, and many other sorts of training going on in the field. To say the least I was impressed.

My own Blaze Pack didn't really need training  grounds since we had the surface of the sun to live on and there were many places to go if you needed to train. Though my father did train warriors personally while captains trained the pack wolves since my father was busy training the warriors. Josh's pack was very settled, everything was spaced well, no one was constantly on top of each other and everyone was getting along just fine. "So what do you think?" "Of the territory or the pack?" "Both" "Well everyone looks very calm here, everyone seems to be ding their part and not complaining, I like it" "Would you want to come live here?" Josh asked me looked down at me with nothing but hope and affection in his eyes. This would be a big step to come and move in with him, but I need to go back to the sun at some point before the vampire hybrids realize I'm on Earth. War could break loose if they found out.....but I really want to stay with Josh.

Maybe if I just hid out and made sure to keep myself from going to far off then I could stay? "Baby?" I shake my head getting out of my thoughts "Yeah, I think I can stay here, though just for one night for now" I say just to be safe, a lot can happen in one night and I don't mean in a good way. He smiled widely from ear to ear and he hugged me tightly. This was after all me trusting him enough to stay with him over night. "You won't regret it" he smiled and I nodded trusting him. He started talking about all the things we could do tonight like baking, him making me dinner, watching movies in the private theater of the pack house, reading, maybe going out for a late night swim in the giant pool that I guess he forgot to mention earlier. Maybe tonight would be fun, maybe everything will be alright and maybe, just maybe, I could stay more than one night.
