Mayas POV

It's been 3 days since the incident, I've stayed a few more miles away from the territory in hopes of not being spotted. I hear rustling and I look around while walking forward till I pass a bush.

I haven't shifted to my human form in the past 3 days so I quietly shift and sit down watching the deer as the graze. I smile as the heat of the sun set, sets on my skin bathing me in its warmth "Thank you father, for another warm day" I look up to the sun, since I'm the Sun Kings daughter my eyes don't burn when I look at the sun, all I see is beauty. I see some birds fly by in pairs and I smile to myself "Father said once I find my mate that everything will be different, We will have to face many dangers before we come back" I lay down on the soft grass and take a deep breath of fresh air.

Josh's POV

Once I find her after searching for her scent, I shift to my human form and dust off my clothes not wanting to look like trash on our first formal meeting. I walk out from my spotand walk over to her carefully so I don't spook her, noticing she's laying down.

Third person

Josh walked over to Maya "Hello there" Maya perks up slightly knowing she had smelt a familiar scent. "Hey" she says standing up, though she still had to crane her neck to look at him since she was so short.
She growled slightly being frustrated with her height, this made Josh laugh. She glares at him "Sorry, it's just i like your height it makes you look cute" she growls again "In a good way" he chuckles "Well I don't think we've formally met before, my name is Josh" he smiles almost making Maya melt "Josh?" Josh growls in approval hearing her say his name for the first time "Yes and what is yours my lovely mate?" She rolls her eyes at him but can't help the small amount of heat rising to her cheeks "My name is Maya" she turns her head away a but to escape his gaze "Maya, what a gorgeous name" he picks up her hand and places a gently kiss on the top. Maya's eyes widen slightly and her cheeks turn a tinted pink

Mayas POV

Your blushing

Shut it you love crazed shewolf

My wolf just wags her tail stupidly.

I turn my head to look back at Josh. Bad idea, his smile almost makes my melt on the spot, his hand holding mine protectivly, not wanting to let go . I take my hand away from his "Well Josh you probably should be going now"I put my hands in my pockets as the sun now hides behind the peak of the mountain. "I'll be back tomorrow Maya, and I won't leave without you" he leans in quickly before I can protest and he kisses my head making me blush. He shifts to his large black wolf and he licks my hand before running off, I stand there speechless for 10 minutes before I make my way to a tree. I make myself a suitable bed for the night and settle in "What have I got myself into....."
