You woke up the next morning. You got out of your tent, but saw there was a note tapped to the flap. You took it and read it.

You rolled your eyes and threw out the note. You climbed back in the tent and grabbed a paper and a pencil. And with that, you started writing. You spent hours on this letter, so long that you missed breakfast. Once you were done with the letter, you tapped it to Max's tent flap.
MAX'S P.O.V
I walked back to my tent and saw a letter from Y/n. I looked it over.
Dear Max,
I'm going to be honest with you. This is hard for me to even talk about. You've become a monster, Max. I don't know what I did, but you hate me for it??? Or maybe you're just being bitchy. But the slap you gave me yesterday really opened my eyes. When you told me to drown in the lake, and this may come to a surprise, but I thought it was a normal thing... Honestly, I don't know if we're still together or not... But if you're going to be like this, then I personally think that we would be better off on our own.
Feel free to write back. But I'd lowkey rather not speak to you in person until you calm down.

BACK TO NORMAL P.O.V
You didn't know if he got your note or not, and it was bugging you. But you tried not to let it show. You walked up to Neil.
"why did you tell me that max wanted to talk to me yesterday?" you asked.
"Because he did?" Neil chuckled.
"but he said he didn't."
"He just got nervous, but he really did..." Neil shrugged as he walked away.
"Y/n!" Someone called out. You turned and saw Emma.
"oh, hey emma." you grinned.
"How are you doing after what happened yesterday?" She asked you.
"i'm confused because... ok so he gave me this note today and it said he wanted to talk to me. but i wrote him back saying that i was too scared to talk to him in person. and i don't know if he saw it yet or not but i'm lowkey freaking out." you admitted. Emma nodded.
"Well try not to think about it. If he notices what he did wrong, he'll apologize-"
"and if not?"
"Don't think about that, Hun. Try and think happy thought. I know it'll be hard, but I'm pretty sure I can help you out." Emma winked. You rolled your eyes and smiled.
"whatever."
