I Saw Her
I saw her sinking in an empty lake;
I felt her perfect world filled with dread and hate.
I saw her smile as it faded away;
I saw her blue sky turn cold and grey.
I heard her tongue dripping with breathless sighs;
I saw her tired, helpless eyes.
I heard her heart get tired and slow,
As her walls broke down row after row.
I saw her lips twitch with despise,
When constantly replaying those sickening lies.
I saw her neck all laced in rope,
As she kicked the stool which had given her hope.
I watched her drown in an empty sea,
As she took her last breath and longed to be free
One thing that haunts me, is what she said:
It's not suicide if you're already dead.
