"Prayer is always the answer, hold on to your prayers"

.....................................................................

Today is Monday we just came out of a two hour lectures hot and bothered, I am feeling drained and exhausted but Alhamdulillah the class was productive because I really got what the professor taught us.

I saw Ameera a girl from my class who belong to our study group heading towards me, so I stopped and waited for her to catch up with me. Ameera is a bubbly person and never afraid to speak in class or out of class, we aren't really friends but we have nice conversations sometimes. She came over and Salamed to me giving me her hand for musabaha (handshake).

"How are you? I was waving for you right from class, but it seems you are in a hurry. I hope I am not disrupting you from attending something" she said looking at me quizzically.

"No, don't worry I am just tired, sorry about that, I didn't really see you" I answered beaming a smile at her.

Immediately she cheered up" our study group have decided to start our after school  toturials and you are the only member not on our whatsapp group, that's why I decided to relay the message to you" she said in her usual chatter voice.

"Thank you Ameera, I was actually going to look for Abdul to confirm the arrangements but it slipped my mind"

" most of the group members are over there, under the mongo tree I think we should go and meet them"she said pointing to the reknown big shady mango tree in our department.

I nodded spotting our leader Abdul in a red polo shirt waving his hands up and down obviously explaining  something to someone. We went up to them together, Ameera chatting my ears off on the way. We joined them, after exchanging greetings Abdul explained when we were going to start our tutorials and where it will be held.

" Abdul before we leave since we are all here, can you elaborate the behaviourism theory of sigmund Freud" Mary one of the members asked.

We all nodded in agreement because the professor kind of sped through the theory, leaving gabs to be filled. Abdul enthusiastically started explaining to his best ability in a way we would all understand and comprehend it, I dropped my bag before me and opened the zipper pulling out my note and a pen to take notes when necessary. Thirty minutes into our discussion, a sleek black cheverolet  parked close to us. Ameera let out a dreamy sigh when the guy stepped out of his car, I didn't raise my eyes to see who it is because guys aren't really my priority right now.

"Wow, this guy is really hot" she said fanning her self dramatically, I rolled my eyes at her childishness and tried to concentrate but failed woefully because by then most of our group had focus on the mysterious guy coming our way, I peeked beneath my long lashes to see who was causing all the rackus, my breath hitched when my eyes landed on the handsome young man making his way to our little group. He oozes confidence and class, he trudges forward with a purposeful stride, impeccably dressed in an expensive looking suit with the blazer missing and the tie a little loose from the collar. Looking at him right now I didn't blame Ameera for reacting the way she did, a kind of pride swell in me knowing who he came for.

"Assalamu alaikum" he said in his deep velvety voice, extending his hand for a handshake to all the male members and flashing his million dollar smile to the ladies.

I refused to acknowledge his presence, giving more attention to my book. He chatted friendly with all of them like some long lost best friend of their's, he ignored my presence too, charming his way with my group members and I can see he already have them wrapped around his fingers. They gave him their full attention while he  explained dramatically about an almost accident he encountered on his way here, our eyes accidentally came in contact he caught my a gaze for a few seconds and winked at me with a mischievous smile and dismissed me continuing his story.
