CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Another update in less than 24 hours. Wow! This is surprising right? Yup. I am trying to make up for my silence, lets dive in shall we?

She was on the bed trashing and screaming, obviously dreaming. Ummah by her said trying to wake her up from the disturbing dream, sofie rushed out to get the doctor while Ammi stood there muttering prayers over her at the same time helping to wake her up.

She jerked awake, her eyes wide open with tear stained eyes. Covered with sweat, to my amusement she was looking directly at me as if trying to register who I was, suddenly she started jerking and trashing trying to jump out of the bed.

"Are you going to help or just stand there gaping at us?" Ammi barked at me.

which seem to wake me up and I jumped in trying to hold her off from jumping from the bed. Such a beauty but not in a good state of mind, so I am married to someone with psychological problem? No wonder the other guy refused to marry her, I thought. Right then the doctor barged in with Anwar at his heels, while sofie stayed back with abbad far away from the room. He doesn't need to see his mother in this state.

Seeing the dire situation she was in the doctor pressed the nurses button and a nurse rushed in, he barked information at her and they sprang to work. Ammi held ummah by the side who was in tears seeing her precious daughter in that state.

"Oh Allah, have mercy on this girl, heal her and grant her good health" she said in tears.
"Don't worry, in shaa Allah she will be fine"Ammi said comforting her.

"It's been years since she had this attack, why now? Why? She battled so hard to get over her horrible pass"

"Just pray for her, kinji ? In shaa Allah komai ya zo qarshe, kada kiyi sabo" Ammi said

I stood watching the black beauty sleeping on the bed, I couldn't help but feel a rush of sympathy for her. The doctor gave her an injection that relaxed her and she fell asleep, he said it was a panic attack and the dream she had was what triggered the attack. What had happened to her to cause this? It must be really tragic, I thought.

He can't be that heartless to consider divorcing a person in this situation and also risk the wrath of both Ammi and ummah and also there's abbad to consider, he needs a father figure in his life. The problem is he doesn't need a wife at all, women are a problem. He learnt that the hard way. He moved over to where the two women are seated , looking better than a few minutes ago. He joined them in their conversation while abbad entertained them with his childish talks.

Her life had been upside down from the moment, fahad saw her in that hotel. She thought she would be able to turn things around knowing how in love he had been with her but he refused to meet her, blocked her on all social media platforms, and blocked any pathway that would lead her to see or contact him.

She never knew a day would come where fahad will completely throw her out of his life, she thought she had him by the neck but obviously she only had him by the toes. Everything seems bland to her, she tried to continue her life by attending more parties, taking on as many rich clients as possible but she end up crying herself to sleep every night she's alone. Fahad is what she wants and now she heard he got married. Her fahad married to another person not her, she dropped on the floor of her bedroom, crying.

The door to her room pulled open and her mother cat walked into the room in an expensive looking lace, with heavy gold adorned on her hand and neck and ears.
