"Aye you tryna go to the movies wit me tomorrow or nah?" read the text that Trevor sent Moriah. Moriah and Trevor had became friends ever since that catastrophic day at the beach. They've been texting each other non-stop. He's actually nice despite his asshole, basketball star, egotistic exterior. Should I say yes? I mean I'm still talking to Chance, even though our text messages are becoming shorter and more boring. I still like him, Moriah contemplated. "But there's nothing wrong trying to explore my options. If Chance doesn't work out, I'll have Trevor to fall back on." she finally decided.
"Yeah, what time?" She asked.
"probably around 7...... Think Like A Man Too or 22 Jump Street?"
"Think Like A Man Too."
"aight that's cool."
Moriah picked up her phone and dialed Aja's number. "Hello?" Aja answered sounding tired. "Girl, guess what?" Moriah said. "What?" Aja asked impaitently. "Me and Trevor are going to the movies later on." Moriah said excitedly. Aja screamed happily. "Oh my gosh. I'm so happy for you bitch! I'm coming over so I can help you pick out what to wear." Leave it to Aja to make plans without your consent, Moriah thought. "Alright, I'm about to get in the shower, call me when you get here." She added. They said their goodbyes and hung up. Moriah hopped in the shower, and threw on some yoga pants and a tank top. A few hours later, Aja arrived to her house with a ton of makeup and rollers. "Damn girl what you bring wit you, the whole MAC store?" Moriah joked as she let her in. "Shut up," She lead her to her room and Aja immediately went to her closet. "What time are you guys going?" Aja asked as she took through Moriah's clothes. "He said around eight which means....."
"7:45," they said.
"Oo this is cute," she said pulling out a floral printed pink "Word" shirt. "Some white skinny jeans would go great with this," she mumbled to her self. Aja raked through her dresser to find a pair of white jeans. "Found it." she said. "Here you go," she said laying the outfit on my bed. "This is nice," Moriah complimented as she viewed the outfit. "Now go put it on." she ordered. Moriah huffed as took the outfit with me into my bathroom. A few minutes later, Moriah arrived with her outfit on. "Yaass bitch, you betta work!" She did a litle spin. "This would go great right?" Aja held up a gold chain and a ring from Moriah's jewlery box. "Yup. You think I should just keep my hair like this? I mean it's already straight." She nodded. Moriah looked at the time, it was already 6:45pm. "If you gon do my make-up we better hurry up it's already 6:45." She grabbed her make-up bag and got started. By 7pm, she was finaly done. Moriah brushed her hair quickly, and slipped on a pair of pink Vans, and continued to wait for Trevor.

"Moriah," Trevor whispered lowly waking Moriah up, who was sleeping on her livnig room couch. "What mom?" she said sleepily. "It's Trevor," he said. Immediately she shot up and wiped the drool that was dangaling from her mouth. She stood up and stretched. "You ready?" he asked while she grabbed her purse. "Yeah nigga. What time is it?" He looked at his brand new gold iPhone 5s. "It's 8:19."
"Late ass nigga." she mumbled as they walked out the door. "Chill on me, two times." he stated throwing up the peace sign. "You're so lame," she said as she playfully punched his arm. "Lame? Neva that." he replied walking to the car. "This your mom's car?" Moriah asked, looking at the red 2013 Chevrolet Impala. "Nah, nigga this mine." he said cockily as he got in. Moriah followed his actions and did the same. Trevor put the key in the ignition and sped off almost hitting a car. This nigga is gon' kill us. Moriah thought as she shook her head.
Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the local movie theater. "You wanna go get the popcorn and stuff while I go get the tickets?" Trevor suggested. "Yeah, sure." Moriah said as Trevor handed her a two twenty dollar bills. Moriah took the money and walked over to the concession stand. There was no line, so she ordered for her and Trevor. "2 medium Sprites, a pack of Xtreme bites, and a large popcorn please." Moriah ordered sweetly. The cashier grabbed the items and put the popcorn in its bag. "Excuse me ma," said a male voice as he tapped Moriah's shoulder. She turned around to see a medium height brown-skin boy her age. "Yeah?" she said. "I seen you walking around, and you beautiful as hell," he said. "Thanks." Moriah said turning back around. She was trying to politely curve him. He honestly wasn't very attractive. Well at least not as attractive as Trevor. "So yeah. Oh, by the way I'm Nate. I was wondering if I could you know get your number." Moriah instantly felt awkward. "Um, uh-"
"Aye babe, I got the tickets." Moriah turned around and it was Trevor. He was pretending to be her boyfriend. He put his hands on her hips. Moriah silently thanked the Lord that Trevor showed up right on time. "Yeah thanks baby," she said going along as she kissed his cheek. "Yo this nigga bothering you?" Trevor said referring to Nate. "Nah man, I ain't know she had a man, sorry dude." Nate said walking away. "Oh my gosh, thank you so much. You don't know how awkward that would've been if you hadn't came." she said relieved. "Yeah, I saw you looking all awkward and shit so I had to help you out." he said slightly chuckling. Moriah handed him the popcorn as they went to find their theater. They found it, they decided to sit all the way at the top. Once they were settled they began to enjoy the movie.

"Dat shit was funny as hell. Especially when Kevin Hart was dancin' on the table in the hotel room!" Trevor exclaimed, talking about his favorite part in the movie. "Nah my part was when Regina Hall was getting a lap dance from the male stripper." Moriah laughed as they got into the car. Trevor lit up a pre-rolled blunt and rolled down the window. "You want a hit? he offered. "Nah, I'm a'ight." Moriah declined. "C'mon Riah pleaase?" he begged. "No."
Trevor looked at her with puppy dog eyes. "Pleaase? You know you want to." She rolled her eyes, "Fine." she said. He smirked as she took it from him. She put it in-between her lips and inhaled. She coughed a bit, but not badly. It wasn't her first time smoking weed, she had done it times before, but never smoked on the regular. She passed it back to Trevor and watched him as he blew o's of smoke. When he passed it back, she followed his actions and did exactly what he did. "There you go. I know you had some bad in you." he said taking the blunt back. "Whatchu' mean?" she asked curiously. "You be acting so goody. But we all know you a hot ass mess underneath." She raised her eyebrow. "Oh really?" He nodded. "Yeah cause at parties, you be turnt. Twerkin' and all that shit, I see you girl." he said ratchetly. Moriah laughed at his silliness.
They smoked for thirty minutes and tried to decided what they wanted to eat. "Damn I'm hungry." Trevor mumbled. "Yeah, I got the munchies too. What about Taco Bell?" Moriah suggested. He nodded and drive to the nearest Taco Bell. They went through the drive-thru and ordered their food. Once they got it, Trevor to a vacant parking light. "C'mon let's lay on the hood and look at the stars and shit." The night sky was filled with stars that were shining brightly. They both ate their food in a comfortable silence. "Um Trevor?" Moriah said biting into her last taco. "What?" he asked not looking away from the sky. "Is this a date?" she asked. She'd been holding the question in the whole time. When Trevor pretended to be her boyfriend, it made her feel some type of way. "Well...., it's whatever you want it to be." Moriah grew irritated because she felt like he was brushing off her question. She rolled her eyes. "Like I don't wanna put labels on it just yet. But if you wanna say it's date, it's date. It don't matter to me." She nodded, understanding what he was saying. It got quiet. "When I get old, I'ma be fresh as fuck." Trevor stated randomly. Moriah laughed at his random outburst. "My wheelchair gon have spinners and I'm gon have all the hoes in the nursing home." They both chuckled at the comment. "What time is it?" Moriah asked. "11:11." Trevor answered. "Make a wish." Moriah said. "Why?" Trevor asked dumbfounded. "Just do it." He closed his eyes and opened them a few seconds later. "At 11:11 you're supposed to make a wish, and maybe it'll come true." Moriah explained. "You're so corny, man." Trevor chuckled. "I should probably get you home," Trevor said climbing off the hood. They got in the car, and Trevor drove Moriah home.
When Trevor pulled up, Moriah gave him a hug and got out. Trevor watched Moriah all the way until she got in the house, to make sure she was safe. When Moriah got in the house, she was smiling from ear to ear, reflecting on all the events that had taken place moments before.
