Ailani's POV
"I know we just met, but a couple of my friends were going to link up at this low-key dive bar about a block over, and they serve a-mazing burgers. I felt it was only fair to ask you to join us?" Sadiyah asks just as we start to leave the club.
After a long night of watching people drink, dance, and having a little fun myself, around 3AM, I finally started to depart.
We were standing outside underneath a palm tree in front of the club and Gordinha wasn't far behind me.
"No, I don't mind coming at all." I laugh. "I could use some new friends anyway."
"Girl, don't we all." She says as she playfully rolled her eyes.
I'm not gonna lie, Sadiyah seemed to be a cool person to go out and hang with at times, but believe me, I'm not gonna jump out on the ledge so quickly, especially after this Cierra fiasco.
Speaking of which, I haven't heard anything from Cierra, but seeing her instagram, she's been really busy, and I mean really busy.
It's a shame she turned out to be a hoe and a fake friend, but that's on her, I know I tried to be there for her at the times when she needed me most.
"My feet are killing me." I whined, stopping in the middle of the side walk, taking off the nude pumps, and holding them in my hands as we continued to walk.
"Um, this guy behind us, is he gonna be around the entire night?" Sadiyah asked, sneakily peeping over her shoulder.
I laughed and nodded. "Abel said I had to have someone with me at all times, but I'm still a Soundcloud artist to most people. I have no real fan base, so nothing to really worry about."
"Well how many listeners do you have on Soundcloud?"
"At least over half a million. But that's really nothing because in public, no one really knows me. It's like, I'm hiding in plain sight."
"Do you have an IG?" She asks.
"I do, but I rarely get on. I'm more of a snapchat person."
"Let me see your phone–"
I unlocked my phone and handed it off to her, not really paying any attention to what she was doing.
"–Here." She hands it back.
People were adding me left and right, and my snapchat score skyrocketed.
