"I got a D?!" Jeremy yelled at his graded test, Michael next to him and (Y/N) at a nearby computer.
"All this stupid fucking ghost hunting is taking away from my study time... I can't get a "D" in biology. My dad will kill me..." He groaned, throwing his head down on the table.
"Hey, just be lucky it's a passing grade. I'm failing gym." Michael spoke, leaning back in her chair.
"Yeah, because all you do is make out with (Y/N) behind the bleachers and skip." Michael blushed madly and pushed Jeremy out of his chair.
"N-No! We haven't done anything like that yet!" (Y/N) chuckled.
" You know, you can pull your grade up by doing an extra credit biology assignment..." She pulled up a web page about a gorilla that said "Extremely Rare: Sampson."
"On this magnificent creature!" Jeremy walked up behind her and squinted over her shoulder.
"A purple-back gorilla?" He spoke, bored and not interested.
"Yep. Extremely rare. Only two left, both male. After this, they're gone forever. Which is why you are going to prove he deserves to be set free." Jeremy scoffed.
"I don't have time for extra credit... or your stupid agendas." (Y/N) pouted.
"Actually, you do. You just have to learn how to manage it better, dude. I decided to become your time manager. It's the least I can do after (Y/N) made me let all those ghosts out. Her and her stupid agendas." (Y/N) glared at Michael, who was looking at his phone. Jeremy sighed.
"I don't know, man."
"It'll be my job to keep track of your schedule so you can do your schoolwork and catch all those ghosts that (Y/N) let loose." (Y/N) smacked him up the head.
"You are such an ass."
"Love you, too, baby."
"Remember what happened when I let you manage the fucking thermos?" Jeremy crossed his arms, turning to him.
"And I've already scheduled "Remember: not to let Michael handle the fucking thermos." He showed the screen with the blinking reminder.
"...I guess we could have a trial period." Jeremy let up, uncrossing his arms.
"See? I've also scheduled some zoo time so we can check out that gorilla. Don't want you to flunk out of high school, yeah? Let's go." The trio left the library, not noticing someone looking at the computer they left with the gorilla info on it...
-----
It was the middle of the night now in the Amity Park Zoo and binoculars stared in the domed gorilla habitat, where Sampson, the purple-back gorilla, was being watched by (Y/N), Jeremy, and Michael from an observation tower.
"There he is: Sampson. So gifted, so... majestic." Sampson scratched himself. In the tower, (Y/N) was watching him from the binoculars, while Jeremy and Michael leaned against a desk, bored.
"(Y/N), we've been watching the gorilla scratch his ass for, um, how long?" Jeremy asked, tired. Michael yawned.
"Six hours..." Jeremy yawned in response.
"Time flies when you're majestically scratching your ass."
"It's like living with your dad, right?" (Y/N) teased. Jeremy threw a bag of potato chips at her. He then shook, hugging himself.
"It's fucking freezing, can you turn up the heat, (Y/N)?" Michael snorted.
"Take my hoodie. I want to take a smoke break anyway and I don't want my mom to smell it on me or else she won't let me out of the house again."
