I followed Newt to the main hut.

I heard screams of pain and horror.

Memory.

"Help me!" They yelled out.

"We can't." Mom said.

Mom picked me up and she ran as fast as she could.

There screams of pain and horror scared me.

What if I wasn't immune to the Flare?

Would I die.

I saw my brother, aunt and uncle burn in a fire and there was nothing I could do. Amd my mom knew that.

Memory over

I just sat there, covered my ears and rocked myself back and forth.

I began crying.

I was breaking down I wasn't strong enough.

I'm not fearing the Grievers nor the maze I'm angry with myself because if I hadn't gone in the maze we'd all still be living a normal life in the Glade.

I was wrong. Amd I know I that now. It was a mistake that I was put here. We all gonna die.

"Hey." Newt said comforting me he hugged me tightly never seeming to let go.

I didn't hug back although I wanted to I just didn't want to give him the wrong message.

But I hugged him back anyway.

They hut stated moving there was a Griever just outside of it and it wanted in.

Each time it tried breaking the hut I cried harder.

I began breathing faster.

"Hey..hey..hey...it's okay. We gonna be okay." Newt said.

Then suddenly something I thought that would never happened, happened.

He kissed me then and there. It felt like fireworks erupted from my stomach. I felt jumpy and giddy. And best of all I felt happy. I felt fearless. I wasn't any more angry with him.  Why was I in the frist place angry with him? I kissed back and soon it ended

"I love you." Newt whispered into my ear.

"I love you too." I said.

Soon the Griever got through and it grabbed Alby Thomas, Minho along with Newt tried to get him out of the creatures grip but there was no use.

Newt came back to me.

"Do you trust me?"

"Y..y..yes." I said.

Newt extended his hand to me. I took it and he helped me up.

"We need to get out of here. Anyone who wants to survive follow us." Thomas said.

"Here." Newt said handing me back the retractable spear.

I took it.

Everyone rushed out of the main hut with Newt and I along.

We ran into the maze not looking back.

I made my way up towards Minho who was coordinating the group of survivors.

"Minho section 8 closes earlier on." I said reminding him.

"Yeah it did." Thomas said and slowed down.

"Then we need to go to section 10. Hopefully it's open." Minho said.

It was a miracle,not. Section 10 was open. Thanks to the mechanism we found it.

As Thomas  and I turned the corner we saw a Griever guarding the door into section 10.

"Be prepared. Griever. We attack together. We have numbers. We about 20 Gladers against one Griever we can do this." Thomas said.

We all nodded and attacked the Griever.

Minhi and Thomas got it's stingers. We brought it down and killed it.

I aimed the mechanism to the door and it opened.

We made out way to another door which was straight in front of us but by a distance.

We made our way to the door.

The sound below us made me worry.

How much Grievers are down there?

Grievers came into a view from what looked like bottomless pits on the left and right.

"It's a 11 digit pass code." Thomas said

Short chapter I know
