"Humans?! This is outrageous!" Azazel griped to himself as he deemed the Creator's plan unacceptable.

He paced back and forth as his mind orchestrate ways he can do to prevent God from creating humans. Azazel was in deep thoughts when Michael snapped him out of it.

"Azazel, Father calls for our presence." the Archangel informed him which he obliged.

They walked in silence towards the throne, where God asked them to gather.

"My children, I will be leaving for awhile and by my absence I am entrusting our Kingdom to Lucifer." God's voice was loud, deep and clear. His voice projects authority and power.  He was heard by the angels and abide to his command in unison.

"Lucifer I entrust you this task hoping that the peace will remain while I am gone." God reminded his most beautiful angel before leaving. Lucifer felt honored that God trusted him with such tasks.

"We must ensure God will be pleased when he return." Lucifer said while smiling to his fellow angels.

After the announcement Azazel went back to his place. He tried to shake off his disapproval to his Father's plan not wanting to disobey him. Everyone went on to their daily chores while God was away. The peace and harmony remained as Lucifer continuously uphold it the way God would approve.

It was just like any other day at the Kingdom of God when Lucifer visited the Creator's throne. He was fascinated at the exquisite design the throne has. By simply staring at it makes me feel the immense power and authority it holds. The most beautiful angel of God was tempted to feel the throne into his fingertips and as curiosity eats him he let himself succumbed to it. Lucifer sat down to the throne and an immeasurable desire grew inside him, desire to have that power, authority, that forbidden desire to be equal to God.

Unknown by the angels, despite his absence God has always been fully aware of what they are doing. He knows what they desire, what their heart holds and what's inside their mind. He knows everything as he is God, no one can hide from him. Despite knowing this, God knew what is bound to happen, he still left his Kingdom and let Lucifer look after it.

Azazel went to approach Lucifer and heard him boastfully tell himself "I want to be a God! I am powerful, intelligent and beautiful. Perfect in all aspect and even close to God's image."

Lucifer turned his gaze to the approaching figure of Azazel in which the latter told him, "What are you saying Lucifer? No one can be God other than Father, you cannot be and never will be a God."

Azazel felt a surge of rage awaiting to explode inside Lucifer as he answered, "I can be and I will be a GOD!"

The noble and clever among all the angels felt Lucifer's greed for power, that unquenchable desire to be worshipped and to have authority over all God's creation.

Azazel watched Lucifer continue what he was tasked to do. The entrusted angel continued to look after the angels and Archangels. He enjoys and love the given authority he has, allowing him to receive high respect by the angels with lower ranks as they obey and follow him. From a distance Azazel watched how Lucifer let himself be eaten by his pride. The angels feared the worst, the Archangels knew what is happening and also God. They feared that Lucifer will receive an extreme punishment for allowing himself be blinded by greed. God would not want his angels be festered with thoughts like this, an act like this will never be accept in his kingdom.

The rest of the Archangels discussed the situation. Archangel Michael told them, "we must do something. Lucifer is changing. We cannot let his heart be filled with pride and greed." Everyone knew there's no other response to this than to agree.

"We must wait for Father's return. He must know what is happening before Lucifer suffer a greater punishment." Archangel Raphael added which they all agreed.

Hidden behind the walls near where the Archangels were talking, Azazel stood quietly. He heard everything and knew Lucifer do not have much time left, God will return and he will be punished. He wanted to inform Lucifer but decided to keep it to himself. As the clever one, he concluded that interfering would do him no good. He had decided to speak with the Creator. Azazel wanted to try changing his mind with regards to creating humans. He fear that God may have already executed his plan but he thought that this is something that God would not keep from them and so he waited patiently for his return.

"If Lucifer wants to be a God, maybe there is something I can do to stop Father from creating humans." Azazel whispered to himself.

His mind was filled with thoughts when the trumpets were heard in the whole kingdom as God has finally arrived. Everyone rejoiced and Lucifer returned to his normal duty, following God's command just like everyone else. Azazel knew that Lucifer felt anger and jealousy towards their Creator.

Given the opportunity Azazel immediately went to seek approval of speaking with God. He knew that waiting and thinking would not be resolve unless he discuss with the Creator what he have in mind. The nervousness eats him as this was the very first time he chose to disobey God's order. A part of him wanted to return to his room and let God be God.

The path towards his Father's throne was quite long. He walked at the hallway with high pillars at each sides. The whole place was shining white and beautiful that his eyes hurt by staring at its beauty. Nothing in this place does not shout beauty and exquisiteness.

God was waiting at his throne knowing what his precious angel have in mind. He stand far from him yet his presence feels like God is standing an inch away from him. The powerful aura he emits throughout the entire hall makes him think twice but his nervousness a few moments back suddenly evaporated.

Azazel stood before God's throne, the King of all Kings acknowledged his presence and said, "what is it Azazel? Tell me."

The angel took a deep breath before answering "Father, I have learned about your plan in regards to human creation. As much as I know you believe this will make Earth better, I have to disagree. Humans should never be created as they are only deemed to destroy Earth, your creation."

God heard the hate in Azazel's voice and so he told him "Azazel, you are one of my most powerful and clever angel. A good and noble one. Humans have already been created, they are now given a life on Earth. Do not worry Azazel for I am God, your creator. I do know what I am doing." Azazel eyes widen as the words seeped through him making him realized he was already late. His heart became dark, filled with anger. He swore to gather proof that humans are up to nothing good and that their existence will only destroy Earth.

As he turn his back walking away, he quietly told himself "time to visit this precious little humans."
