Richard's not the type of guy who gives up easily.

So, he and Dee went back to the bar. Richard's goals were: to get Maine's number and to get to know her more. He doesn't know if she'll be up for it, but at least he tried, right?

Loud music filled his ears yet again. He should probably get used to it because he's gonna be back a couple of times more.

Tonight, their song was Immortals by Fall Out Boy. Since the song was about to end, they went nearer so Richard can ask Maine to talk to him and frankly, spare his heart from getting hurt again because she might kiss another person, just like she did the last time.

"Hi Maine," he greeted, his palms sweating hard.

"Oh hi Richard," she smiled sweetly. "What are you doing here?"

"Can we talk?" Maine shrugged and followed Richard outside.

"'Chard...are you gonna ask me out again?"

"No," he lied. "I know you don't want to but why don't you atleast--"

"Let's do it."

"try? What?"

"I said let's do it," she chuckled.

"Wow," he said. "Oh wow! Thank you! Thank you for giving me a chance! Thank y--"

She shut him up by giving him a kiss.

"You're thankful, I get it," Maine said when she pulled away. "But if we're gonna do this, I need to lay some ground rules."

"Sure! Anything you want," he replied.

"First," she leaned in and whispered seductively, "I want to be satisfied, whenever, and wherever, I want."

This made him gulp. He nodded.

"Second, I want to go to the beach," she said.

"Would it be okay if I see my schedule first? I don't know when I'm gonna be available for a whole day," he replied.

Maine nodded. "Surprise me."

"I would definitely do that. Anything else?"

She pulled away and stood atleast one feet away from him. "Third, you're not allowed to say you love me, unless I say it first--IF! IT comes to that."

He had a hopeful smile plastered on his face. "Okay."

The went silent for a few seconds then Maine talked again. "Here's my number, by the way. You can call me anytime except from 5 to 9am." After giving him her number, she said, "are we done now? I have to get back in. We still need to play for the night."

"Wait! Don't I get to have some rules too?" He shouted when she started running towards the bar.

"Text me!" she shouted back.

He smiled. He definitely got one of his goals completed tonight.
