In the middle of doing his homeworks, Richard got a message from his bestfriend, Dee.

It said: You ready for tonight?

Richard totally forgot.

He promised Dee that they would go to a bar tonight. He didn't know why he promised, because this it totally not him. Richard is the focus-on-studies-don't-do-wild-stuff type of guy.

Richard tried to get out of his promise by saying that he has an exam the following day, but Dee couldn't be convinced. So, he has to go.

10:30pm, Friday

"You're not gonna regret this 'Chard," Dee said.

"I hope I don't," he mumbled.

The loud music almost deafened Richard when they entered. He is not liking this at all. Not even one bit.

They picked a table close to the stage. "Jerald said he's gonna be here in a few minutes!" they had to shout because of the loud music.

Richard nodded. "Do they have water here?"

"Of course! At the counter," Dee pointed towards the counter. Richard nodded and went through the pool of people dancing just to get to the counter. He asked for a bottle of water.

He looked around and saw how wild they people there were. Some were dancing and some were making out. He looked to his right and saw two girls flirting with each other. The girl who was facing him squeezed the butt of the girl she was flirting with.

"Jesus, get a room," he said in his normal voice. But because the loud music stopped, the girl who got her butt squeezed turned around because she heard him.

"What's that?" she bit her lower lip lightly.

Oh good God.

"N-nothing," he dismissed. The girl slowly nodded but smirked. She turned to the girl she was with and whispered something that made the girl giggle.

She faced him again and put her hand on his shoulder. She leaned in and whispered "Hi, handsome."

He gulped loudly. Bet she heard it. "H-hello."

"What's your name?"

"R-richard," he replied.

"Richard," she started tracing his chest using her index finger. "That's a nice name. Nice to meet you, Richard. I'm Maine," she leaned in closer.

"Maine..." he slowly leaned in. Closer...closer...

"Sir, here's your water," Richard suddenly pulled away and drank the glass of water in one go.

Maine giggled. She leaned in again and whispered, "I'll see you later, Richard."

When she disappeared into the sea of people, Richard ran to their table. "What happened? Where's your water?"

"Dude, I just found the girl for
me."
